I’m going to post the photo-event review on another platform, so for now I’ll write a real same-day surgery review. You can probably check the photos from surgery day in my posts!! First, this was a re-revision surgery + I haven’t seen many real reviews of this hospital + this hospital was sometimes mentioned with initials in posts asking for recommendations, but I couldn’t tell if it was real or advertising. Because of these three things, I kept worrying until the day before surgery and went to the hospital with anxiety at max. As soon as I arrived, they told me to pay the surgery fee first, but I wanted to change the surgical method, so I postponed payment, saying I wanted to consult with the director first. I changed clothes, washed my face, took pre-op face photos, and went into the consultation room with my guardian. Checked the pre-op consent form. Checked the post-op precautions > I asked a bunch of things here. (From when can I wash my face? Can I go to work then? What if the stitches don’t dissolve and remain? If scar tissue forms, how far will you treat it? etc.) After that, they told me to write a consent form for a partially public review. I said if the surgical method changes, the price might change and I might not do it, so I rejected it and said I’d do it later. Consultation with the director started. It was ptosis correction + adhesion, but after seeing side effects I got scared and asked to remove the ptosis correction. He said okay. (The director here seems to have a bit of no ego, like he’ll do most things if the patient asks? I know him to be conservative.) He drew the line many times. I showed photos and asked if they were possible, said I didn’t want it like this, and anyway I was picky about setting the line. At the end, the director seemed a little irritated. Sorry.. but my final line is very important. I also asked when I could get dermatologic procedures after double eyelid surgery, and at the time I had a body-ache cold, so I asked if my condition mattered. I asked things like, how many holes will you make in my eyes? At that time my anxiety was at max, so questions like that just came out. After the director left, the season of the partially public review consent form came back again. When I compared prices, the event made a 500,000 won difference, but they said I had to post 4 times on a total of 4 places, and I suddenly felt it was too annoying. Also, even if I have surgery at another hospital for 2 years, I’m banned from publicly posting a review. It felt like a non-compete clause,,, At this point I wondered whether I should skip the review event, but I asked a few things and said okay. > If I get AS, does that also count as a progress review? - Depends on the condition. > Is there a set content format? Or any phrases that must be included? (If they said yes, I wasn’t going to do it.) - Just write the hospital name and director’s name; the rest can be written freely. > If I don’t like the line, do I still write a mindless recommendation post? Or can I honestly write pros and cons? - You can write freely, and anyway if it doesn’t turn out well, they’ll do AS. (It’s a set answer, but I still didn’t want to deceive people who might have surgery later just for my own benefit.) > Can I delete it after 2 years? - Yeah. I don’t remember more, but anyway I asked a lot of questions, and it seemed like the hospital reviews the review first and if it’s okay, then you post it. (Obviously, because that’s what a review event is.) Consent form signed. Paid the event price and surgery started. I asked if my guardian could watch the CCTV. - Possible, but separate recording isn’t allowed; seems they show it on an iPad for 10 minutes. I went into the operating room, and they carefully finished the design, (the director was in super-focused sensitive mode - he absolutely didn’t say anything to me; that was just the atmosphere) I heard “Give the medication~” (meaning administer the anesthetic), and the moment I sensed something coming, my heart suddenly started beating insanely fast and the fear began. I fell asleep while seeing strange hallucinations. I’m worried I may have said some nonsense; Felt like 5 minutes. Actual surgery time was about 25 minutes. They woke me up, and I recovered for about 40 minutes with an ice pack on (10 minutes lying down, the rest sitting). When I worried that my right eye strangely felt tighter, the director checked it once more at the end. End. Maybe because I seriously acted as picky as a squid and begged them to please make sure my right eye doesn’t come undone, in a “let’s never see each other again” mode, he stitched the right side 9 times. He really fixed my right eye very densely and tightly. It feels like a professor giving a B- as a way of saying don’t retake the class either, just get out. My mom said it seemed like during the consultation I only asked questions based on the assumption that the surgery had already failed, and that I asked every little thing. Since I was that picky, if it settles well, I plan to repay it with a review. ++I think I might be suspected of being a broker, and it hasn’t settled yet, so I can’t carelessly reveal the hospital name!!!!ㅠㅠ
