Collected all the real questions about breast surgery

*After going to consultations through both communities and apps, and after finishing surgery, this is only everything I personally felt. It cannot be the definitive answer, and I’ll correct anything that’s wrong. Breast questions (the main questions I also had before surgery) About how much does it cost? There are Motiva/Mentor/Sebbin. Motiva is the most expensive, starting around 10 million KRW. Mentor differs by type, roughly starting around 8 million KRW. Sebbin also differs by type, but the expensive ones are 7-8 million KRW, and the cheaper ones (like an entry-level phone) can be in the high 4 million to 5 million KRW range. Where should I make the incision? If you go to consultations, between armpit incision and inframammary fold incision, most recommend the armpit incision. Especially if you’re young, the general mood is that they all recommend armpit incision. But personally, if your armpits are very fair, or your armpit creases are not clearly defined, or if you have a job where you raise your arms straight up, like a Pilates instructor? For people like that, the inframammary fold incision is better. +Recovery is faster with the inframammary fold incision. How painful is it? This really differs by person and by doctor. Some say they felt like they went to the threshold of death, and some say it was okay. But don’t be too scared x Humans overcome everything; we are creatures of adaptation. Since painless injections or Tylenol exist, there should definitely not be pain to the point of shock. If you take capsular contracture medication, are there no contracture problems? Contracture medication lowers the chance of contracture occurring early on. Capsular contracture can happen early, or after 5 years, or after 10 years; it varies so much ㅠ People who have had breast surgery really need to manage their condition and body for life. Think of it as something that can happen if you’re unlucky, and be careful with massage or active activities.. If you look at communities, the timing of contracture occurrence varies a lot. Do men know if you’ve had your breasts done? Assume they almost all know. But I haven’t seen a man who dislikes it. If I’m at least a B cup? I absolutely discourage it. But please refer to the lower part of my breasts before surgery ^^ If you’re around that level? Then of course I think it looks different starting from what you see with your eyes. Surgery is your own freedom, and it’s a difference of whether it is a complex or not. I’m not forcing that surgery is necessarily good xxxx I’m satisfied. How does it feel to the touch? Maybe softer than a bouncy ball? More firm than a water balloon. But for people whose skin is really tight and thick, it will probably feel firmer, and for people who have their own fat and soft flesh, I think it will feel softer. This also differs case by case. How much scarring remains? Scars are truly noticeable before 6 months. After that, unless someone comes close and says “let me look at the incision,” they’re not very visible. Tips before surgery / surgery prep / after surgery Before surgery - what to look at on communities and apps If you watch with interest, some hospitals will roughly start catching your eye. If you look at reviews for those hospitals, doctors are people too, so they seem to have styles. There are hospitals that mostly go large, and others where the shape is plump and pretty like a peach but not extremely large, or others where it has a very teardrop shape and drops sharply from the collarbone. It will differ depending on the person’s baseline, but I think what each doctor pursues is different! So look at those things and think, ah, this breast style is pretty here! Mark it, and definitely capture screenshots of those breasts and bring them. If you go to XX hospital, capture the pretty reviews from that hospital! I think this is better than bringing ones from another hospital! Before surgery, even if you don’t ask every little thing, most of the time the manager or the doctor will look at your rib cage and breasts, estimate the possible cc amount in detail, and then show photos of people and talk with you, so there isn’t much you need to prepare before surgery x Things to pester the manager about when choosing a hospital!!!! Please ask them to make the price cheaper, definitely try pestering them. Another hospital is this much (if you really liked this place), please do it at this price. Say you’ll even retake the CSAT to get a student discount. Try every ridiculous joke you can. Ask them to give you a compression bra for free (these days it seems almost always free), but if it’s not free, pester them. Ask what if the scar doesn’t go away, and ask them to increase the number of laser sessions!! If contracture happens early, find out how the hospital handles it, whether there are costs involved, exactly how much! Know things like this. Surgery prep - money Do everything the hospital tells you to do. Ask if you’re taking any specific medication. Liquid Tylenol (works better than the white tablets) After surgery - early on, sleep with cushions supporting you (if you use upper body strength when getting up, your breasts hurt) For about five days? Once it becomes tolerable, walk lightly. If you overdo it, your breasts feel heavy. Do every action like a Tyrannosaurus. Think of using only your forearms and palms, not your arms, and move carefully. Go properly when the hospital tells you to come. You may be curious about underwire bras / V-fit and so on, but do them from when the doctor says okay. But!!!!!!! If you wore underwire for a long time and something feels numb or uncomfortable, then reduce the time wearing an underwire bra. Your breasts are still finding underwire burdensome! Exercise is the same. If the doctor at the hospital doesn’t say okay, don’t do it. If you try it and think, oh.. this feels a bit scary, don’t do it. I know my body best.
