<Before surgery><1 month after surgery>I had double eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method about 5 years ago, but the line gradually got thinner, and eventually it got to the point where it was buried in my upper eyelid. Because I remembered how painful it was when I first had surgery, I was thinking about just living like this, but people around me kept asking if I shouldn’t get revision surgery, so much that they were nagging me.. Why do you all..?? Anyway, I figured they were saying it because they were worried about me, so I started looking into revision surgery. When I had my first surgery, I think I just went into a clinic I could see, had a consultation, and got it done right away, but this time it was revision surgery, so I chose the clinic pretty carefully. I wanted a natural-looking line that wasn’t too high, and in my case, I needed improvement in my forehead use, so they said a forehead lift would need to be done together, so that’s how I had the surgery. I thought it would hurt a lot like the first surgery, but it wasn’t as painful as I expected. I don’t know if techniques have improved over the years, or if the director who did my revision surgery was just very skilled, and when I had my first surgery, I swelled a lot and bruised badly, but this time, even though I had a forehead lift too, the swelling and bruising weren’t that severe. The line came out the way I wanted, and people around me said I look much younger and that I did well to get the revision surgery. I also think I made the right decision.. haha I almost ended up living with a failed first surgery, but I’m satisfied because I think I met a good director through a good opportunity and had a successful revision surgery.
