The consultation with the doctor seemed fine and the reviews seemed okay, so I had a short consultation and booked the surgery. On the day of surgery, I went in to decide on the design, but for some reason the doctor seemed very cold. Even when I went in, he was reading documents, and because I was just standing there, he started with, "What do you want to say?" Since the previous consultation had been so short, I asked about various things and chose a specific design, but while looking at the notes he had made, he asked why I was changing things on the surgery date after saying I would do it this way during the consultation... It wasn’t something I had insisted on during consultation; he had written it down himself... The atmosphere felt like he just wanted to move things along quickly, so the start was pretty off-putting and worrying. I could understand that patients asking annoying questions can be tiring, so I tried my best not to do that either... It would have been better if he had been a little less cold...
The design before surgery was extremely thorough, and from that point on I could feel the doctor’s focus and attention to detail.
I didn’t see the doctor after surgery during recovery. I also didn’t see him when I went for disinfection the next day..
Front desk: surgery instructions and such came the day before around 3 PM.. After surgery, I only got one sheet of paper with instructions, even though I could barely see. Every time I made a reservation, they called to check whether I could arrive on time.
Service: all the staff were nice, but it felt like the system was more hospital-centered than customer-centered.
Surgery contract: the contract was extremely detailed. I was especially surprised by a clause saying that if you have surgery at the event price, you can’t get treatment for that area at another hospital for 5 years. They also said they couldn’t provide a copy of the contract..
I’m still so swollen that I can’t really tell, but I hope it turns out well. If only the surgery result is good, I’ll be satisfied, but objectively speaking, the service and hospital attitude were so-so... I’m just trusting the doctor’s skill..
