I’m two months post-op, and the clinic said people don’t usually apply scar cream, so I’ve never applied it even once, but the scar near the inner corner of my eye is getting bigger and bigger I’m so worried it might heal with a bad scar. Is it really okay not to apply anything…ㅜㅜ Did everyone’s clinic tell them to apply it? I’m also curious what you used!

나나 [@와조] Huh, really? You’re not supposed to apply it to the incision line?! The clinic did say people usually only apply it to the epicanthoplasty area
와조 [@] Oh, I see. Since most medications, except things like eye ointments, say not to apply them near the eyes, I thought that was why. Sorry
jiyn2 I was also told not to apply it, so I didn’t. I got my stitches removed today. I’m also wondering if it’s really right not to apply it just because they told me not to
아머리아퍼 But if you do apply it, I think you should apply it after the wound has healed. At two months, I think it should be okay to apply it now. They say people whose skin tends to scar poorly are better off using scar ointment
magggo I applied it diligently only where I had epicanthoplasty!
나나 [@아머리아퍼] Ah, my skin does tend to scar poorlyㅠㅠㅠ I should ask the clinicㅜㅜ
나나 [@magggo] Ah, I guess most people don’t really apply it
수정쓰 I just did only what the clinic told me to do, and it’s healing well
나나 [@수정쓰] Oh, did your clinic also tell you not to apply it? I have oily skin and my skin also tends to scar poorlyㅠㅠ The scar seems too wide..
sharon525 They didn’t tell me to apply it, so I didn’t, but a bumpy white line formed.. I don’t know whether it wouldn’t have formed if I had applied it.
나나 [@sharon525] Oh wow, I seeㅜㅜ I should ask the hospitalㅠㅠ Does it bother you a lot..?
