I was debating whether he should get lower blepharoplasty or lower eyelid fat removal... I worried a lot, but a friend said that since my dad is older, we should look into removal rather than lower blepharoplasty, and that middle-aged patients also go to ㄷㅌㅂ(ㅏㄱㅓㅗㄴ) a lot, so I went for a consultation and it really did seem more advantageous there. With lower blepharoplasty, they cut the skin to do the surgery, so I was worried about scarring, but for removal they take it out through the inside of the conjunctiva, so they said I wouldn’t have to worry about scars. So I booked the surgery there. If your parent is worried about under-eye fat too, I think it would be good to look into removal as an option as well.
