I had correction for a hump nose + deviated nose + low nasal tip. The materials used were donated costal cartilage and ear cartilage, and it has now been 2-3 months since the surgery. For the first month, I couldn’t breathe and couldn’t taste anything, so since my rhinitis had already been severe, I worried that I really couldn’t breathe at all anymore. Now I think the only inconvenience is that when my nose itches, if I don’t have a cotton swab, I just have to endure it. After the surgery, I now have a side profile I didn’t have before, and I have a slightly protruding mouth, but my mouth looks like it receded too. But there wasn’t as dramatic a change as I expected, and people around me just say it doesn’t look obvious. It makes me think plastic surgery shines more when your original base is already pretty, or otherwise you have to do it very often and a lot, like celebrities. So these days I’m more interested in eyes, lifting, and things like that. I guess this is what people mean when they say you get greedier after plastic surgery.
