Just because it’s revision surgery, it doesn’t mean you absolutely have to use only autologous costal cartilage, right? The opinions about materials have been a bit different at all the clinics I’ve consulted at so far. I think I just assumed that autologous costal cartilage would absolutely have to be used. Since each clinic says different things, I want to get consultations at the remaining clinics quickly too. I still have two clinics left, and part of me hopes the opinions will be somewhat consistent haha If the consultation opinions differ too much, I think I’ll need to look up a few more places that are well known for revision surgery and go to additional in-person consultations. I shouldn’t try to rush it.

짱배곺 Not absolutely, but a lot of people do it with autologous costal cartilage.
둥이둥이둥이 If septal cartilage or ear cartilage was used in the first surgery, it’s hard to use it during revision surgery, so I think many people use costal cartilage.
바로아누 I heard it’s not necessarily like that. I’m also looking into revision surgery ㅜ
이뻐지고 싶어..☆ It’s not absolutely required, but compared with the first surgery, there’s usually less material available, so most cases use costal cartilage. Especially if the nasal tip has drooped, even more so.
미진잉잉 When I went for a consultation at one clinic and heard the explanation, autologous costal cartilage wasn’t mandatory, but if I wanted to worry less about drooping or side effects, I thought autologous costal cartilage would be better.
콩실허 Since many people think of autologous costal cartilage as the last resort, it is used a lot in revision surgery, but it is absolutely not mandatory! That clinic really makes the nasal lines look good though. When are you going?
