I originally went because I only wanted canthoplasty, but because one eye was slightly uneven and drooped on one side, they also recommended eye correction. The director recommended it in a cool manner, but didn’t force it. I liked that they weren’t the type to speak casually or act arrogant. But in the end, I only got canthoplasty. The swelling lasted about 2 weeks, and after that it kept going down and the eyes became clearer. Now, 3 months later, to talk about how things are: the aegyosal didn’t disappear. It’s still very plump. But I lost the smiling-eye look. If I laugh loudly even a little, my eyes really look like sideways commas. Still, up to a gentle smile it looks natural. And people really do say I look different, but they think I lost weight, so no one realizes I had surgery. Lately people just keep saying my eyes look bigger than they expected. Probably because the surgery doesn’t look obvious at all, but my eyes do look bigger, and they seem to think I must have forgotten how big my eyes used to be. If I don’t say I had surgery, it’s almost like gaslighting.ㅋㅋ Anyway, in many ways I no longer feel embarrassed about my eyes even without makeup. Wherever I go, people say my eyes are big. Right now I’m a bit puffy and buried under fat, but once I lose weight I think they’ll look even bigger. Strongly recommended.
