When it was still K, I got a friend’s recommendation and went for a consultation, and had incisional double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction. The doctor was extremely kind and felt very sincere? He explained in detail how the surgery would proceed, so even though it was more expensive than other places, I trusted him and had the surgery. But I think most people are like this, right? The strength of eyelid opening is different on each side, so one side keeps opening wider while the other side keeps getting smaller, and I had revision surgery here only two or three times…
I’m grateful that they tried to take responsibility until the end, but I kept wondering if my eyes were really that difficult.. Even now, the asymmetry is still there, and it’s been about 4 years now. For the first 2 years, the thread tied inside my eye kept poking inside all the time, and my eyes hurt. But I live abroad, so I couldn’t just go to the hospital, so I just endured it.. Now I can’t feel the thread at all, but anyway I had revision surgery about 3 times and it still wasn’t a satisfying result. They moved hospitals, and now I see they don’t do eyes anymore and focus on noses, which somehow feels even more empty…ㅜㅜ
