Eye Surgery Reviews

Iting Community Review

To remove the severely sagging facial fat caused by weight loss, I made up my mind and came up from the provinces to consult about a facelift and neck lift. The consultant and staff were kind, and since I had made an appointment, I was able to have a consultation with the director within 10 minutes without waiting. In conclusion, the answer I received was that it would be difficult to expect the effect I wanted through a lifting surgery, and they recommended a university hospital rather than a private clinic, with an approach involving an incision under the chin. I also had a consultation about sagging eyelids and under-eye fat repositioning, but in the end, they said the biggest cause of my concerns was that I had no anterior cheekbone volume, so there was no supporting structure, making everything look saggy. They suggested about 4 cc of filler in the anterior cheekbone area and tear trough. Instead of under-eye fat repositioning, they recommended “lateral canthal fixation,” “incisional double eyelid surgery,” and a “forehead lift.” These were completely different procedures/surgeries from what I had been thinking, but they explained them well, so I was able to understand. The director didn’t feel especially warm, but they also didn’t feel unkind or insincere, and I think they tried to examine me carefully. (Rather, I think I briefly panicked at the answer that lifting surgery would not be effective.) At the moment, I’m more stressed about the sagging skin under my chin, deep cheek fat, nasolabial folds, and the face and neck area than about the eye area, so I’m thinking of addressing these parts first and then getting another consultation. I was disappointed by the answer that I couldn’t get the effect I had expected, so my mind felt unsettled, but looking back, I think the director spoke honestly.
