Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Iting review from a community

First of all, the consultation with the director felt kind of vague and superficial. There wasn’t a clear “yes, it’s possible” or “no, it isn’t,” and they left all the choices to me, so I wondered if this was really right. They said my line needed to be lowered, so when I asked whether lowering it should be done with double-line correction or excision, they asked which method I preferred and said they would do it the way I wanted... But if they looked at my eyes, shouldn’t they be able to professionally judge whether there isn’t enough excess tissue or whether double-line correction is needed? Why are they making me choose that... It’s not like picking out clothes. Of course, it’s good in terms of reflecting the patient’s needs, but I didn’t get a professional impression. For everything I asked out of curiosity, it felt like they gave answers that could be interpreted either way, leaving out the point of my questions and only talking around them. The consultant was kind.
