This time, after quitting my job and coming up to Seoul, I had a lot of time, so I did a ton of online research and went around for in-person consultations for breast surgery. I got a lot of useful information from this community, so I’m writing mine too. ㅇㅇㅇ - consultation fee 10,000 won This was the first place I went for a consultation, and it’s a really good place to go for your very first consultation. First of all, they explain the surgery method and fitting really well in a very standard, textbook way, and I liked that they explained while showing a PPT. Both the consultant and the doctor were so kind, so I liked it, but they recommended a size that was too big, and the doctor had previously worked at a hospital where an accident had happened, so I passed. After the consultation, they give you nipple patches, a back scratcher, a tape measure, body wipes, a book, and so on. So I think it’s good to go for a consultation at least once. They give you things that are surprisingly useful for surgery for free, so I was very satisfied with the consultation. ㅇㄴㄱㅁ - consultation fee 10,000 won This place has been around for a really long time and doesn’t advertise, so it felt like a super hidden master clinic, and I personally had high expectations. But first, the doctor seemed a bit older, and during the consultation, I strongly felt like he kept trying to send me to consult with the vice director? so that felt a bit off. I waited for the vice director, but the consultation kept not happening, and when I looked, he was in surgery…ㅎ They didn’t tell me, so I just waited. That was my first negative point here. The vice director also looked too young and felt a bit like he was reading from a book? So after leaving the hospital, I looked him up and it didn’t seem like he had been working there for very long, so I passed. ㅇㄷ - no consultation fee I went here because it’s a specialty hospital. The doctor felt a little chic, but had a very professional aura and gave off the feeling of being highly skilled. I also work in a hospital and have seen many doctors, and he had that skilled-expert feeling. So I liked it, and the consultant’s consultation wasn’t bad either, but I wanted to see a lot of patient cases similar to mine, and they only showed me photos in a booklet. Since ㅇㄷ has been around for a long time, I thought they’d have a lot of cases like mine, so my trust dropped a bit there. There was also some pressure to reserve, which I didn’t really like. But this place was my favorite, so I put down a deposit. ㄱㄹ - no consultation fee This was the place whose shape I liked the most, so I went with high expectations. The consultant was kind and felt very professional. She showed me lots of review photos of patients like me, and the previous hospitals had only said things like my breast shape was good, but this was the first place where I heard about my downsides (a bit shocking). After that, I had the consultation with the doctor. The doctor felt very chic, but I got the impression that they would be very sensitive and aesthetically meticulous. People like this have good aesthetic sense as surgeons (personal experience). Anyway, that’s why I felt the most drawn to this place, and I decided I should do it here. Their aftercare is also solid. At first, this place was my second choice because I wanted transaxillary incision but they recommended inframammary incision, so it was second place. But they said they could do transaxillary incision for me, so I fixed on this place. ㄱㅈㅇ ㅇㅅ - consultation fee 30,000 won This place was honestly shocking. I was so shocked that a hospital could feel this much like a chaotic marketplace. First, as soon as the consultant sat down, she explained the price and asked if it was okay… It was my first time seeing a place start with money talk. Without any explanation of the surgery method or photos or anything, they explained the money first, and the attitude was kind of like, if you can’t afford it, leave, so I was really taken aback. So I said I had enough money, and only then did she explain. But she didn’t show even a single photo and only talked, saying it’s been 33 years, the doctor is a female director, and so on, but she didn’t show any proof or basis. They also pressured me about writing a review. Anyway, then they told me to go out, and I think I waited in the waiting room for 2 hours. Then I saw the doctor, and when I saw there was CCTV in the fitting room, I completely lost interest. What would they do if it got hacked? And the doctor… I have so much to say, but it might sound too much like swearing, so I’ll hold back. Anyway, they didn’t look skilled, and kept repeating like a parrot that I looked like a Barbie doll and was pretty. I swore I would never do it here even if someone held a knife to my throat. ㅍㄹ - consultation fee 10,000 won I went here because I heard it was opened by a doctor who used to be at ㅇㄴㄱㅁ. The consultant was kind and good, and they had 3D simulation, so I tried it for the first time. The doctor was also kind and explained well. He had that passionate, enthusiastic feeling typical of a young doctor. I had consultations for abdomen and arm liposuction and breast surgery, and the results looked so dramatically Barbie-like that I was tempted. But the most important thing, the breast shape, didn’t match my aesthetic sense… So I thought about it, but unfortunately passed. But I would be willing to go there for abdomen and arm liposuction.
