Lateral Canthoplasty Review

I had lateral canthoplasty. My eyes weren’t extremely cat-like to begin with, and because they were sunken eyes, there wasn’t much space that could be opened up. Even though I knew my eyes weren’t the type that would show a big effect, I was always so stressed about how short they looked horizontally, so I went ahead with the surgery without hesitation! Until the very end, I was debating a lot between two clinics, but one of the biggest drawbacks of lateral canthoplasty is that it can reattach. Because Director Oh Hyun-bae has long experience and because his own surgical method is said not to reattach easily, I had the surgery at this clinic, and honestly... I’m so, so satisfied. I normally have severe dry eye, so I was really worried about that too. Right after surgery, my eyes did feel a bit dry, but compared with before surgery, I even wondered, “Did it actually get better?” I didn’t get dry eye at all. In particular, I had heard that lateral canthoplasty at other clinics can be quite difficult after surgery because of swelling and conjunctival edema, but without exaggeration, I went out to eat on the day of surgery. Until the stitches were removed, I only had a tiny bit of conjunctival edema and didn’t swell much either.. The consultant was also so nice, and it seemed like she had worked with the director for a long time. Everything from the consultation to removing the stitches was very clean and didn’t hurt at all. During the pre-surgery consultation, I had quite a lot of requests. I wanted the eyes opened up as much as possible, but it had to look natural, and because of the nature of the surgery, if you open them too much, it naturally creates a puppy-like look, but I really hated that tooㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ Thinking about it now, the director must have found it really frustrating.. I kept saying right until just before I fell asleep on the operating table that I must not end up looking too sad, but I think the best thing is just to trust the director and leave yourself in his hands. The director seems to have really long experience, and whether I worry or not, you can feel that the surgery will go well.. The consultant’s consultation was also very clear and detailed, and I think it lasted over 30 minutes. She was cool and nice. The first photo is before surgery, the second photo is right after stitch removal, and the third photo is day 40. It does seem like it reattached slightly, but I expected this much reattachment after surgery to some extent, so it’s okay.. (It is a bit disappointing, but.. it’s expected, so what can I doㅠㅠ) And for my face, this is already a huge improvement, so just looking at my face, I’m very satisfied. I also laughed a lot after surgery and blinked a lot, so I think that may have made it more like that. Anyway, this got long, but I’m really this satisfied, and if you’re considering it, I really think you can trust this place and get it done here. I recommend it.
