I had lower eyelid fat repositioning surgery on November 20, 2024, and had revision AS surgery on my right eye on March 17, 2025..
The consultation with the director was average, but at the time I needed to schedule quickly, and this was the place that didn’t recommend fat grafting and could offer an early surgery date, so I did it right away
The aegyo-sal filler I had before had spread, so I dissolved it the day before the first surgery, and after surgery, the left side improved by 80%, while the right side showed almost no improvement (the tear trough line was the same, the lower eyelid fat was the same) After about 4 months, I went for a follow-up, and they immediately suggested revision surgery, so I had the revision surgery 3-4 days later (Actually, even the left eye had a little fat gathered underneath, so when I mentioned it, they flatly refused, saying it didn’t need to be done..^^;) At the time I’m writing this, it’s day 9 after AS on the right side The major swelling has gone down somewhat, but huh, it looks the same lol.. I’m waiting, thinking it must be swelling, but because I remember the first surgery, I feel like this one is wrong too Still, I guess I have to wait and see lol..
After the first surgery, there was no improvement, so one more AS? Okay But if there’s no improvement again, I think I’ll be really angry I was also worried that having revision surgery after only 4 months might strain my eye (In reality, after the revision, recovery was twice as slow. The swelling was worse, and the abnormal sensation in my eye was three times worse. Bloody tears came out until yesterday) And even if they say they’ll do another revision, I don’t know if I can trust them, and it’s absurd to have my under-eye area poked around three times with lower eyelid fat repositioning The hospital also has no interest in why I have to bear transportation costs to Seoul every time, the recovery period, and medication costs, and since they redid it as if doing me a favor, that’s probably the end of it lol;;
Also, I’ll watch it until the one-month mark, and if there is still no sign of improvement, I have no intention of having revision surgery at this hospital
My dad gave me this surgery as a graduation gift, so I’m even more upset
I saw some reviews on other plastic surgery platforms saying there was no improvement too, and I can’t believe that ended up being me~ lolㅠㅠ
I plan to leave a one-month follow-up too. Please let it just be swelling so I can change this into a positive review.
