I am someone who had my first surgery with buried sutures 5 years ago, and then, at one-month intervals 3 years ago, had revision surgery six times... not something to brag about. Even though it was buried sutures, I think messing with eyes to that extent would cause a lot of damage to the skin, but because it was only a partial buried-suture procedure, after several years, there is almost no scar. Since early this year, opening my eyes has felt heavy and a little loosened, so I'm preparing for revision surgery again. Having experienced surgery multiple times, I know there are things that need to be considered thoroughly before surgery, so this time I'm going to look into it even more carefully. A short piece of advice: make sure you research enough, think thoroughly about the design that suits your face, decide on your own design to some extent, and then go for a consultation and choose afterward. That way, I think you can expect better results. In plastic surgery, the doctor's medical skill is of course important, but I think it's better to avoid doctors who don't have aesthetic sense. Most hair designers say that asking verbally, like "Please do it like this," is quite vague. They say showing suitable photos is the fastest way to communicate. What I've felt after multiple eye revision surgeries is that instead of explaining with words this way and that way, it may be a good tip to prepare the desired design on an iPad and discuss it thoroughly together with photos. Each doctor has a design they pursue, and the difference is whether they are very rigid about it or whether they sufficiently accept the patient's opinion. I'm also looking into it again after a long time, but there seem to be many helpful sites like this one, so it's easier to research than before~ I hope everyone looks into things carefully and gets results they're satisfied with.
