My family’s dermatology clinic also does plastic surgery, so I just had it done there without going around to compare clinics. During the consultation, they said ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty weren’t necessary and that buried sutures alone should be enough, so I scheduled the buried suture procedure and it’s been 4 or 5 days since surgery. Even if I think swelling is unavoidable, my eyes are swollen, and since I have to start TOEIC classes in August, I’m anxious about when it will go down. I keep thinking the back of my eyes feels cramped and that maybe I should have just done lower canthoplasty too, but then I remember the plastic surgeon and the assistant nurse? told me not to do it and talked me out of it, so I wonder if not doing it was the right choice.. I did research before going, but I didn’t think about the foreign-body sensation at all. I had LASIK, so my eyes are sensitive, and it’s still uncomfortable because of the foreign-body sensation. Also, before the surgery they said stitches would be removed after a few days and laser care would be done later, but after surgery they said no stitch removal and no disinfection was needed, which surprised meㅜ I think I can see black stitches in my eyes.. If they’re not removed, won’t I see them every time I close my eyes?ㅜㅜ Is there anyone who had buried sutures without stitch removal..? It doesn’t seem like absorbable threadㅠㅠ
