I had consultations in the order of consultant-director-consultant without waiting long. Both the consultant and the director were calm. There was no pressure to book, but the cost was definitely high: 2.31 million won for buried-incision double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty, and 1.65 million won for buried-incision double eyelid surgery only.
The director clearly told me about the condition of my eyes, and when setting the line, he used a ruler to mark exactly 6, 7, and 8 mm. He said that during surgery, adjustments could even be made in 0.5 mm increments. I got the impression that he was professional.
But I do have a slight Mongolian fold, and since the shape is a bit different, he said it would be better to do epicanthoplasty if I wanted both eyes to look the same. It was a recommendation, not pressure. Personally, my natural eyes already look like they have inner and outer canthal widening, so I felt that even a little epicanthoplasty would make my eyes look too close together. I was also told that I use my forehead muscles a lot, so it would be good to get Botox in my forehead. I have had consultations at five places so far, but this was the only place that mentioned epicanthoplasty and forehead Botox. It felt a bit burdensome, so I decided not to do it.
