Double Eyelid Surgery Review

I had my first double eyelid surgery 4 years ago and my second double eyelid surgery 2 years ago. My original eyes had a lot of fat, monolids, were small and narrow like cockle-shaped eyes, and were upturned, so every clinic I went to told me not to expect them to turn out pretty. So I just thought, “Let’s at least make my eyes a bit bigger,” and went to my friend’s dad’s clinic, where I got posterior canthoplasty, ptosis correction, and double eyelids. Honestly, I was satisfied. My eyes were just so tiny and ugly.. But people around me said it looked like someone had drawn lines above my eyes. Still, my eyes weren’t uncomfortable, and eyeliner that never showed when I had monolids, even when I drew it thick, became visible.. I liked it. Oh, right, the swelling was really severe, so even after 2 years, my eyes looked like sausagesㅎㅎ Then 2 years after that surgery, I went to a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong recommended by an acquaintance, really just for a consultation. I wasn’t particularly thinking about revision surgery, but people around me were making such a fuss telling me to get revision surgery, so I went just for a consultation. The director saw my eyes and was like, who did your surgery, saying it was done so badly and all that.. Then after looking closely at my eyes, he said, “Ah,,, these are difficult eyes for plastic surgery,” and that they were the kind of eyes doctors hate the most, and that the first surgeon had still done their best.. Honestly, I felt so bad and teared up and all thatㅜㅜ so I was just going to leave. But you know how eloquent doctors can be. He said he would make my eyes pretty and that revision surgery would be difficult, but he would do his best, so somehow, really impulsively, I made a reservation, paid, and left.. It was eight million won just for the eyesㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I had double eyelid revision surgery, posterior canthoplasty, epicanthoplasty, lowering canthoplasty, some fat something, under-eye fat removal, and all kinds of thingsㅋㅋ And during surgery... it took 7 hours.. I didn’t know double eyelid surgery could be such a... major surgery...... I guess my eyes are unusual. Anyway, when I looked up reviews of that clinic, people said the aftercare was bad and the director had a bad attitude, but although he spoke a bit curtly, he worked really hard on both the surgery and the aftercare. Especially during surgery, he was really meticulous. Maybe because of that, my left eye had almost no swelling at all, and my right eye.. I don’t know why, but maybe he didn’t like the line during surgery, because he made and released the line several times, stitched and undid it, so it swelled. Now that about 2 years have passed, I can see the double eyelid lines are unevenㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The left is an inline crease -> kind of like YouTuber Risabae’s eyes, but the right is an outline crease and the double eyelid line is... not very natural.. ㅋㅋ.... On top of that, because I had posterior canthoplasty and lowering canthoplasty, the posterior part of the under-eye mucous membrane is gone. I don’t have eyelashes there either, sob. And I also developed dry eye. But the eyes themselves got dramatically bigger, and I do marvel at how they made this eye shape from my old eyes. When I smiled, my eyes used to shoot upward and looked totally like a Tibetan fox, but now when I smile, my eyes kind of.. fold prettily, I guess... I hear a lot that my eyes look like Cheng Xiao from WJSN. I am satisfied, but honestly I want to redo the line on my right eye. Sob. I want to go to that clinic and say the right and left sides are asymmetrical and ask if they can redo it, but the cost is no joke, so I’m thinking about it....... ha, yeah... But my eyes don’t close when I sleep. I’m worried about what will happen when I get older.....
