I had rhinoplasty almost ten years ago, but the results didn’t turn out the way I expected. My crooked nose wasn’t improved, and I didn’t get the line I wanted either. While I kept thinking about revision rhinoplasty, I happened to find a clinic I wanted to visit, and after a consultation, I went ahead with revision rhinoplasty too :) It’s been about a month since the revision surgery. I felt that using autologous costal cartilage for the revision was probably the right choice, so I had the surgery using the method the director recommended! The funny thing is, maybe because I’d already experienced rhinoplasty once, I wasn’t that nervous on the day of surgery. I just kept telling myself it would go well and then had the surgery. Now that it’s been about a month, the major swelling has settled, though I think it will take a bit longer for it to fully settle into my face. But when I look at the line, I got the high, defined line I wanted, so I’m happy with it! Of course, my own satisfaction matters, but I really wanted to hear people around me say the surgery turned out well. Friends I’ve met recently have especially been giving me lots of compliments, so I really feel like getting revision rhinoplasty was a great decision! I hope this nose surgery line lasts a long time so I won’t have to get another revision anymore. There’s no need to feel too discouraged just because it’s a revision surgery, so I think it’s important not to give up and to research carefully!
