Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I’ll tell you about the clinic I regretted going to from the day I went in for surgery

*First, on the day of consultation, they pressured me to sign the contract right away *During the consultation that day, they asked what amount I had in mind. I told them a price a little higher than what I had been looking at, and they came back with the exact amount I named. So I said, “Ah, now that I think about it, this seems expensive. I’ll think about it a bit more and come back,” and they immediately knocked 1 million won off. The price is whatever they say it is. *Until then they hadn’t contacted me at all, then suddenly at a little after 8 p.m. the day before cosmetic surgery, my assigned manager called and said something like her child’s kindergarten schedule meant she wouldn’t be there on Friday, the day of my surgery, and told me not to panic even if she was absent. *Before that, they hadn’t explained anything about removing the packing or post-op care. They just said the packing inside my nose would be removed after 3 days, but on the day of surgery they suddenly said, since I had surgery on Friday, they were closed on Monday too, so they could only remove the packing on Tuesday. They told me, “You probably won’t be able to stand it until then anyway, so just have it removed somewhere else or take it out yourself. Okay?” Then they said they’d skip all the checkups after the packing removal and only schedule the splint removal for me~ So I said, wait, isn’t the usual process to get the packing removed, have a checkup, and then monitor the progress? The doctor said I also wanted swelling care and laser treatment, so why were they trying to skip the first follow-up? Then they booked it for me with a face like they had swallowed something rotten. *While filling out the consent form with another young manager, the consultation room had a seriously strong cigarette smell. *Maybe because of the smoking, they kept coughing while explaining things. *Even from the young manager’s face alone, something felt off. She answered with her eyes wide open, exactly like that snippy vibe Kim A-young has on SNL. *When filling out the consent form, they said, “Since you’re not doing osteotomy, I’ll skip the explanation about osteotomy.” **Remember this for later. *When I asked about CCTV, they asked whether I hadn’t been told by my original manager, and I felt awkward saying I hadn’t, so I just said I had checked on my own and knew I’d have to pay 110,000 won. But then they said that even that could only be done if the consent form was signed the day before surgery, and since it was the day of surgery it wouldn’t be possible, though they’d ask the doctor. But they also said that unless you pay in advance before surgery and purchase it beforehand, you can’t view it after surgery even if you want to. I couldn’t understand that at all. If an accident happens after surgery, you need to look at the footage to determine what happened, so what do they mean you can’t show it unless it was bought in advance? What nonsense is that? Anyway, I asked them to tell the doctor. **Remember this too. *I got a discount through a review event, but then they suddenly said that since the review event would probably be a hassle for me, they also had a program where they would write it themselves for me lolㅋㅋㅋㅋ They said if I didn’t want that, I could write it myself, but the way they put it was basically “since it’s a hassle for you~,” and I thought, ah, this is why people say not to trust reviews. Anyway, I said I’d write it myself. *When I went into the operating room, the doctor came in looking tired, as if he had just clocked in. There was none of that talking about the shape I wanted, none of the design process like in other people’s vlogs, no one drawing it out for me on my face, no explanation while showing me a mirror. I had sent nearly 20 photos of the nose shape I wanted after surgery, but maybe they only showed one of them on the screen behind me? (I couldn’t even see it. I couldn’t turn my head, I was nervous and overwhelmed, and I couldn’t think properly.) Then they said, “Oh, NewJeans Hae-rin? You want Hae-rin’s nose?” and I said no, Song Hye-kyo’s nose was my ideal, and they just went “ah~” and kept sketching on my face alone. Then they were about to leave after saying, “Okay, I’ll make it pretty and unnoticeable for you,” so I asked, “Doctor, will my nose become natural?” They came back with a bothered expression, tapped my arm, said, “Don’t worry, I’ll make it pretty,” and left... That was the end of my design consultation. They didn’t say anything more, just walked out like that. Nothing at all about how they would shape my nose or what kind of result they were going for. It still bothers me so much that I didn’t stop them or ask more. But they looked so insanely annoyed that I couldn’t bring myself to speak up, and I was left wondering, is this even right...? Is this really how a design consultation is supposed to end...? with nothing but anxiety. *What’s more, when the doctor came in, he hadn’t even looked at my chart. He sat down, looked at my nose, and said things like, “Wow, it’s really crooked. More crooked than I thought,” and “Did we decide to do osteotomy? Or not...?” He looked unsure and glanced at the chart then, and I was dumbfounded because during the consent form process, they had said we weren’t doing osteotomy and skipped that section. So why was the doctor suddenly talking about osteotomy...? I felt so absurd and somehow like I shouldn’t push back, so I couldn’t even ask, “Are we not doing it?”... I really regret that too. *And when I went in for surgery, I had prepared something like a PPT showing the nose I wanted them to make for me, but they said I couldn’t bring electronic devices in. So I really went in with no photos at all, and not even a single explanation of the nose shape I wanted. The surgery went ahead like that. That is honestly what I regret the most. *There was absolutely no explanation about CCTV. I was overwhelmed and stuck thinking, why is the design consultation ending like this? so I couldn’t think about anything else. *After the surgery I hated the result so much that from day 1 I kept bombarding my assigned manager with questions. The replies got slower than before surgery. *On day 1 I thought I was going to lose my mind because of the packing, so I said it seemed like I wouldn’t be able to keep it in for 4 days, and I felt gross about having it removed at another hospital, and since other hospitals supposedly wouldn’t do it anyway, I needed to see the doctor today and get an explanation. They did make an appointment, but said they wouldn’t be able to do exactly what I wanted. I went anyway, and when I got in, the doctor said there was nothing at all about another hospital or anything like that, and sometimes people from other regions remove it themselves, but could I do that? If I couldn’t, then just endure it until Monday and come to me. When I asked, “Do it on Monday?” he said, “Ah right, we’re closed that day,” and then said, “Then just bear with it a little longer and I’ll remove it for you on Tuesday. I don’t think you can do it alone,” so I said okay. Then I asked, “Doctor, you did do it according to the photos I showed you before surgery, right? I brought mostly noses with a small nasolabial angle, almost right before an arrow nose, so why is my nose pushed up like this...?” He looked a bit flustered as his eyes widened. But he nodded and said the tip of the nose would drop a lot more than expected, and as he was about to leave, he suddenly turned back and asked, “Should we get a swelling injection before you go?” From that moment, I felt like he hadn’t been thinking about the nose I wanted at all, and had just done whatever he wanted based on that brief flustered expression. *When I left, I asked to change the Tuesday packing-removal appointment to the earliest possible time. The young manager who had handled the consent form again looked like she had swallowed something rotten, called somewhere, and said, “This patient is asking to change the appointment time. Does this person need to see the doctor, or is this a general consultation?” Then she hung up and said that since the doctor wasn’t seeing patients that day anyway, they could only move it one hour earlier than my current appointment. That made even less sense and was even funnier. The doctor had just said during the consultation that he would remove the packing, but then suddenly they said he wasn’t seeing patients. Then why couldn’t they move it earlier? It’s not like they were saying they couldn’t because of surgery timing or because the doctor would be doing it. Wasn’t some nurse just going to remove it? Then why couldn’t they move it up? The story didn’t add up at all; *My assigned manager suddenly texted me saying she also had plans on Tuesday and wouldn’t be coming to work, so I should just get my treatment and leave on my own; At that point, wasn’t she basically trying not to see me? I really hadn’t been bothering her that much or contacting her a lot before. I think telling me not to panic on my surgery day and on the days I’d be getting post-op care because she wouldn’t be there, and to just work things out with someone else, completely destroyed my judgment that this manager was someone who could explain my opinions well to the doctor, and that I could trust her aesthetic sense. Why do they even have a manager if they’re just going to bring in one more decoy and make money? *Even after that, my anxiety never went away, so I contacted my assigned manager to ask whether the tip of my nose was supposed to be like this and whether it was supposed to drop, but she didn’t even reply anymore, probably because it was her day off. I’m writing this because I’m so angry and wanted to tell everyone here. If you leave a private comment, I’ll tell you everything. For reference, this is a one-doctor clinic that makes a living off the title of being famous for revision surgery. But the treatment is this?^^ Everyone going in for cosmetic surgery, even if the consultation seems really detailed and they seem good at catching things, there are doctors who turn into completely different people once you actually enter the operating room... Make sure you state your opinions clearly, and if you’re not good at speaking, at least prepare well so you can say everything you wanted and get the surgery. They might say you can’t bring electronic devices, so bring a printout if you have to! And make the doctor explain the sketch. I was so flustered that I just froze and couldn’t ask questions or get an explanation, and I hate how pathetic I was back then when I went through with the surgery like that. When I woke up and looked in the mirror, I had become the exact short, upturned nose that I had dreaded the most, like it had been cut down. Where did that doctor who said he’d make it natural and unnoticeable go? If you just cut a long nose off like that, how is it not going to show? Anyway, don’t get tricked by trash clinics like this and get your cosmetic surgery wisely..
