6 years ago, I had a full-incision in-out double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty, but I decided to have revision surgery to lower the crease line. Since I live outside Seoul, I set aside one day and went around to 4 places. My eyes are a total mess: sunken type + thick skin + short distance between my eyes and eyebrows + protruding brow bones. Even though my current double eyelid is 8-8.5 mm, it looks too heavy/greasy, like a mild sausage eyelid, and it does not suit me, so I am stressed. 1. ㅇㅇㅋ (single-doctor clinic, ㅊㅁㅅ) Incision + partial double-line release The cost was 3.9 million won if partially disclosing eye photos AS 2 years No separate postoperative care Stitches removed on day 5 I waited about 10 minutes, and as soon as I went in, they took photos of my face and put the photos on the monitor for the consultation. It was nice because consulting while looking at them directly felt intuitive. Before the director, the consultant marked the line for me, and the line was so much my style that I had high expectations. The director calmly explained well why my eyes had become sausage eyelids and what needed to be done, but the line he marked looked too heavy lol. But this varies by person... There was no excessive upselling, and he said we should just do incision. It was the first consultation slot, so I thought he would take his time, but the director seemed less interested in me than I expected, and the consultation ended quickly. So I am leaning toward excluding this place, but the line the consultant marked was so pretty that I keep thinking about it.. 2. ㄴㅅㅎ (Director ㄱㅈㅎ) Incision + ptosis correction + eyelid fat repositioning The cost was in the 3.7 million won range including fees > 3.1 million won range for same-day booking AS 3 years Postoperative care: swelling injection + scar injection + swelling laser on the day, Postoperative swelling laser + scar laser + scar injection + swelling injection Stitches removed on day 7 There was almost no wait. I consulted with the consultant first, then the director came in, but it felt a bit awkward that the consultant stood behind me throughout the consultation. As soon as the director came in, he asked me to show him the photos I wanted, looked at them, then only marked the line with no particular explanation. It felt like he focused only on the line. He did not explain in detail things like my eye structure or how he would solve the issues with my current eyes. He only answered what I asked, and while I was preparing what question to ask next, he said if I had none, I should ask the consultant, and then left in a hurry. The director consultation time was exactly 6 minutes, and honestly it compared poorly with directors at other clinics.. The line he marked was just so-so, and the consultation was not good, so I excluded it completely. 3. ㅌㅇㅅ (Director ㅇㅈㅁ) Double-line release + ptosis correction + upper-eyelid fat repositioning + forehead lift (optional, but best to do together) The cost was 5.8 million won including forehead lift with same-day booking (low 3 million won range for double eyelid surgery only) AS 1 year Postoperative care for one month: eye massage + decollete massage + swelling laser Stitches removed on day 5 I waited about 20 minutes, and the consultant was cheerful, but there was a little pressure to book. Also, they said there are fixed dates when special prices cannot be applied, like public holidays or long breaks such as Chuseok and Lunar New Year. But if you negotiate, they do lower it lololol First of all, the director explained things so amazingly well that it stood out compared with the two clinics above. If I asked one thing, he explained two or three, and he marked the prettiest line too. He felt kind of like a well-spoken older male cousin, so it was not difficult to talk to him. He said the forehead lift was optional, but recommended doing it together, and went over side effects and even the things I was worried about. Another clinic told me not to do a forehead lift and crease-lowering together, so I decided to pass for now, but it keeps lingering in my mind.. 4. ㄱㄴ (Representative Director ㅇㄱㅎ) Double-line release The cost was with a same-day deposit of 10% (on-site payment) + 3.8 million won if partially disclosing eye photos AS 1 year Postoperative care: scar laser + scar injection if needed Stitches removed from the day after surgery through day 5 A week before the consultation, they contacted me asking to push back my appointment time, so I did, but even on the day, I waited over an hour because of the director's surgery,, I waited a long time, but the director explained my eyes calmly and well, and I brought a notebook with questions I had written down, and he explained everything lololol. He also showed me review photos and photos with the eyes closed, and maybe because he does a lot of extreme canthoplasty revisions, he seemed conservative about canthoplasty. He firmly explained why I should not do the forehead lift and ptosis correction that other clinics had recommended, so I thought, ah, it was a good thing I came here last. The consultant pressures you about the deposit, and it is a bit off-putting that the 10% deposit has to be paid on-site only. They told me that whether I set a date or put it on hold and just pay the deposit, up to 4 days including the surgery date, 90% is refundable, but this also seems inconsistent. From what I hear, if you ask for a refund, there also seem to be cases where they leave you on read lol I am currently thinking about ㅇㅇㅋ or ㄱㄴ, but I have heard there are bad reviews.. If anyone here has had revision surgery there or wants to give advice about the clinics, please feel free to tell me. Other clinic recommendations are good too, anything, please ..ㅠㅠ!!!!
