I should have looked around a bit more and just gone to the doctor who said I only needed buried double eyelid sutures. Why did I go out of my way to get medial epicanthoplastyㅠㅠ I don’t like my eye shape either. I liked my right eye, but I was bothered by the asymmetry and only wanted to fix that slightly, but both eyes’ shapes became weirdㅠㅠ My distance between the eyes was originally average too, so why did they tell me to get medial epicanthoplastyㅠㅠ My eyes look extremely close together, and too much of the lacrimal caruncle shows. I keep worrying about the depressed scar, vertical wrinkles, and the disappearance of my under-eye aegyo-sal, and I feel depressed. When I looked it up, I only saw posts saying reconstruction is difficult and the side effects can get worse, so I’m really distressed...
aaoaao I’ve seen a review post about medial epicanthoplasty restoration in this community before, so try referring to it.. These days there are many places good at medial epicanthoplasty restoration. Don’t be too discouraged, and I really hope you find a skilled hospital.
furi I regretted it at first, but after a few months I got used to it! Try waiting a bit.
젠하 I had eyes that I wasn’t thinking of widening and didn’t need it, but I rushed into it on a doctor’s recommendation and now I regret it. I also looked up a lot of medial epicanthoplasty restoration cases, and they said it’s really a surgery you have to look at over the long term, aftercare is difficult, and you never know when side effects might appear, so if it doesn’t interfere with daily life, they don’t recommend it. But in my case, it’s not just for aesthetic reasons; the pain is interfering with daily life and I’m at the point where I can’t sleep, so I think I have no choice but to do it out of necessity. If you’re not in a situation like mine, don’t think about it too urgently. Look into it more carefully and slowly. It doesn’t feel like someone else’s problem, so I really want to talk you out of rushing as much as possible.
