Today is day 3. On the first day after removal, I was actually less swollen, but from the second day, the swelling gradually started to increase. Today, on the third day, it has swollen up even more, as if I had epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery. The bruising is purple around the eyes like dark circles lol I left the nasal tip cartilage as it was. I was too afraid of sudden changes in shape.. ^^;; I also think it might have been better if I had removed everything. lol
Eight years ago, I honestly cannot understand what state of mind I was in to go through with nose surgery. What is appearance, really...
I know many people think Gore-Tex removal is not easy, but when I saw the removed material, it had kept its shape like silicone and had come out cleanly. Please do not worry too much~~ However, I had never had revision surgery. It was done through a closed approach and under sedation anesthesia.
I also used to come in and out of this community a lot to get information, earn points, read posts until late at night, and leave comments.. I remembered doing that, so I am posting this because I wanted to help even a little.~~ If there is something wrong with your nose, rather than staying anxious, I want to tell you to find the courage to have it removed.~!!
And one more thing... lolololol If you are very afraid of how your nose shape will change, try wearing glasses with large non-prescription lenses. They will cover it to some extent ^^;;;;;;;;;; lol

I had Gore-Tex and ear cartilage used, and it has been almost 8 years since the surgery. To be honest, there were no particular problems. There was a time when I was startled because the ear cartilage at the nasal tip protruded slightly in a pointed way, but it did not seem to progress any further, and the nose shape, from between the eyebrows to the bridge height and the nasal tip, was all natural, so at first I was quite satisfied.
The reason I decided to remove it, though I do not know if you will understand, was that when I interacted with others with a surgically altered face, I felt some kind of guilt. lol I kept thinking that it was a rash decision to have surgery at a young age in my 20s, when I really wanted to look prettier and stand out more than others. (I will also make the excuse that there was a lot of media at the time encouraging talk about appearance and ulzzang trends, and planting fantasies about pretty women. ;;;; )
For 8 years, I always carried anxiety about whether it might look obvious that I had surgery, and I was always bothered by the nasal tip that got especially red in winter, and by not being able to make a pig nose. I also worried that the implant might show on an x-ray. lol So this time, since I had time, I just removed the nasal implant even though there was no inflammation or any other problem with my nose. I feel relieved, but what I regret is that I left the ear cartilage in the nasal tip. I think I may want to remove that too later when I have time. ^^
