I had double eyelid surgery in 2013, so it’s been about 4 years now~ I had it done with full incision and under local anesthesia haha When I went around for consultations, I said I open my eyes using my forehead, and they talked a lot about ptosis and ptosis correction
But at the hospital where I ended up having it done, they said it wasn’t ptosis, but that my eyelids were drooping, and that if the eyelid skin was cut out through an incision, opening my eyes with my forehead would go away Their opinion was different from other hospitals, and the consultation was detailed and good, so I decided on this place
I think the swelling lasted about 6 months to 1 year, and now one side has loosened a bitㅠㅠ Because of revision surgery, I got consultations at other hospitals, and one hospital said I needed a forehead lift.. Another place said to just pinch it slightly with buried sutures, but the last hospital I went to said it’s just right as it is now, so I’m thinking of just leaving it alone~
I did get consultations to some extent, but the more places I went to, the more confused I got, so I think I slightly regret not looking into it moreㅠㅠ
People say double eyelid surgery is simple, but finding the director who suits you is important, so I think it’s best to do a lot of legwork~
