This is my review of getting Doublo lifting 5 months ago. They call it the cheaper domestic version of Ultherapy, I guess. The price was affordable too, so I tried the procedure. They told me to choose between sleep anesthesia, topical anesthetic cream, or just having the procedure, so I asked how painful it was. They said some people just do it, but it is a bit painful, so I chose topical anesthetic cream + anesthetic injections. These days everyone does sleep anesthesia so casually, but I had a really bad memory from when I had sleep anesthesia during fat grafting before and almost seriously died.. (There are two kinds of sleep anesthesia drugs, right? Lidocaine and one more... what... what was it?;; Anyway, maybe that drug didn’t suit me, but I had trouble breathing and almost went to the other world ㅜㅜ) Anyway, so they applied the cream and gave injections between the eyebrows, next to the nose, and next to the lips, about 6 shots, and after getting those injections I almost died again.. The pain during the injection was one thing, but after the injections my heart started racing and my mind got hazy ㅜㅜ I was lying down and suddenly sat upright because I was scared I might die lololololol And then the procedure started! At first I didn’t feel much more than I expected, so I was thinking it was such a relief while getting the procedure.. but gradually.. the more they went over the same area again.. the pain started. How should I put it, it felt like my facial bones were being hit with a hammerㅡ.ㅡ Maybe I felt the pain more because my skin is thin. Areas with less flesh and bone closer underneath, like the jaw or forehead, hurt a lot. The cheek area was relatively okay. I think they did 650 shots, and it felt like forever..ㅜㅜ After the procedure, I had a mask pack and aftercare, came out, and looked in the mirror. First, I was shocked that there was no swelling at all. During the procedure, because it felt like being hit with a hammer, I thought my face would feel completely battered.. but it was totally fine. There was only a little redness. Also, what was kind of interesting was that immediately afterward, my jawline looked slimmer. This wasn’t just a feeling, it really was like that! My face looked gaunt.. but since I don’t have much cheek fat and get fat grafting, that was such an unwanted effect for me... Why do my cheeks look like they lost fat right after the procedureㅜㅜ I searched and found that Thermage is suitable for people without much cheek fat, and Ultherapy is good for people with a lot of cheek fat. If you don’t have cheek fat, definitely go toward Thermage!!!
