Masseter + Salivary Gland Botox Review

It was quite a long time ago, but I’m leaving a review~ My masseter muscles were very developed to begin with, and my right masseter was especially more developed, so my jaw already looked asymmetric, and it made the asymmetry look even worse. After thinking about it a lot, I got a recommendation from an acquaintance and got masseter Botox, and I saw a lot of improvement~

After that, I would get the procedure once every 6-7 months or so, but around my jaw, it no longer got any smaller, and under/behind my ears there was something blunt-feeling that wasn’t exactly fat, and I could feel it, which bothered me. When I looked into it, it turned out to be the parotid salivary glands.

I had lifestyle habits that inevitably could make my salivary glands hypertrophied, such as smoking, overeating, and vomiting from heavy drinking often. haha;

I looked into salivary gland Botox and searched for a place that performed it, and eventually got it done~   I’m quite satisfied with the result. Because my salivary glands were really hypertrophied. When I looked it up, even if it wasn’t exactly a side effect, there were posts saying that because the salivary gland itself is where saliva moves through, the Botox does not stay in place and spreads out, making it hard to see a major effect, but in my case, I guess I saw an effect because mine were large.

Unless yours are excessively hypertrophied like mine, I also think there may not be much of a major effect even if you get it done.
