So while reading consultation reviews and surgery reviews related to removal, I also visited a doctor people said "counsels honestly," and that doctor also recommended that removal would be better It meant I had to remove everything inside my nose But my original nasal tip was droopy too (before my first surgery), and my nasal bridge had also been worked on because of a hump During consultations, a few doctors looked at my CT and said that if I removed everything, there was a high chance a step-off would form from the dorsum to the nasal tip and it could come out looking pinched. They said I should assume a step-off would almost certainly occur and plan the surgery direction around that Because of the contracture, I didn’t want to put silicone back in, and since ear cartilage had been used in my first surgery, I wondered if I would have to use costal cartilage, but a doctor specializing in noses said it could be done using septal cartilage, so I used septal cartilage But they did say that if my septal cartilage had been small, or if I had wanted a higher and more pointed nose, there would have been no choice but to use costal cartilage The nose-specialist doctor said that if I wasn’t greedy, we should use septal cartilage, since it was usable And the doctor said, as a personal opinion, they thought it would be better not to get greedy and make it too high But I didn’t feel greedy either. I just hoped no problems would happen with my nose, and after removal, I only wanted a smooth nose rather than a bumpy one The doctor’s opinion was also to make it as natural as possible, and I agreed, so I had the surgery I had revision surgery without an implant, and they used septal cartilage and posterior auricular fascia to make it come out as smooth as possible while adjusting the nasal tip angle again It’s been a little over a month now, and honestly, in one corner of my mind I had thoughts like, would I regret it if I made it natural...? Everyone, I think natural is the best for the nose... And I think a doctor who communicates well is someone who reflects my opinions properly while matching my situation
