Originally, during my first surgery, my eyes had an in-out line, but because of the inner corners, it looked like an in-line. Since it had come undone anyway, I had revision surgery with an incision to make it a semi-out line, but it’s a bit high on me, so I want to lower the line? My right eye is naturally smaller than my left and also opens less, but the line height is the same as the left. My left eye feels comfortable to open, but whenever I go for revision consultations, they keep recommending ptosis correction. I don’t want ptosis correction; I just want to lower the line by about 1-2 mm through excision. Is it not possible to do only excision..?ㅜㅜ If they excise, they’re cutting out the skin between the new line and the existing line and attaching the two lines anyway, so I feel like ptosis correction isn’t necessarily needed.. Rather than making my eyes look more defined, I think I’d be fine with just lowering the line..
cyb3rgirl Ptosis correction is originally something that’s easy to bundle-sell, so that’s why. You can just say you’re not doing it
꾸윳 [@cyb3rgirl] But they said that if I don’t do it, even if I lower the line, the line won’t roll inward as much. The place I went for a consultation yesterday said as soon as they saw my eyes that I needed ptosis correction, and that if I don’t do it, it’ll inevitably keep turning out badly ㅠㅠ When I relax my eyes comfortably, only about half of my pupils are visible..
cyb3rgirl [@꾸윳] Ah.. if it’s to that extent, I think it’d be better to do it. I had it too, and if it’s a ptosis case that needs ptosis correction, there aren’t that many side effects. If it’s done well, there aren’t any
꾸윳 [@cyb3rgirl] Oh wow, I see.. I honestly do want to avoid it completely, but ㅠㅠ I’ll think it through and get better consultations too..!
다소me Is it because you don’t want to do ptosis correction?ㅠ I also had revision surgery with incision this time and did ptosis correction together, and my eyes became so much more defined, so I’m really satisfied that I did itㅋ
꾸윳 [@다소me] Yeah ㅠㅠ I also don’t feel that it’s that necessary, and I’m a bit concerned that the space between my eyebrows and eyes would become closer ㅠㅠ
