I lived for years thinking my epicanthoplasty from 15 years ago had turned out well, but at some point I started being bothered by how deeply recessed the lacrimal lake on one eye looked... After spending several years like that, once it started bothering me, it kept bothering me and stressed me out, so in the 10th year after my epicanthoplasty, I ended up getting reconstruction. It was a very famous clinic and absolutely not cheap, but instead of blocking the lacrimal lake completely, I got reconstruction in a way that felt like improving the rounded inner front area. (The director emphasized that they were someone who pursued a natural look, and the consultation was like that too.) When I first got the canthoplasty, I wanted the front lacrimal lake to look like a natural pointed shape, not rounded... At first I wondered if the surgery had gone well, but as time passed, I gradually started looking like a frog, and every time I smiled, how should I put it, it felt like the muscle was pulling strangely? Like it looked even more scooped out than after my first canthoplasty? My eye shape became strange, so I was seriously so stressed that I opened it again just 8 months after the reconstruction.... Honestly, I am not completely satisfied with the secondary canthoplasty either, but it is much better than when I had the reconstruction, so I am planning to live without touching it anymore... Honestly, the inner corners were a bit rounded at first, but those eyes were the prettiest.. When I look at old photos, I seriously tear up... asking myself why I got reconstruction... sigh... These days, epicanthoplasty is done well so the front of the eye looks pointed without being obvious. I am really feeling firsthand, after losing 4 million won, that cosmetic surgery is not something you should do early on when a procedure is trending... Everyone, become prettier. I got depressed looking at my eyes while washing my face, so I wrote this.. ----------------- Also, for the last secondary canthoplasty, at first it seemed to have turned out well and pointed, but it changed over time.. It is not round like when I first opened it, but it is not completely pointed either, somewhere in between... Of course it is much better than when I had the reconstruction, but the first canthoplasty was the best.... And after the last secondary canthoplasty, I also developed a raised scar on my aegyo-sal area, so I spent even more money on scar treatments than the cost of the secondary canthoplasty..^^ Please be really careful with surgery.... and I hope you also pay a lot of attention to aftercare....
침대가좋아 The more you get interested in cosmetic surgery, the harder it feels to be satisfied with your current face. Let’s not look in the mirror and think about what to fix! Let’s look at the pretty parts and regain confidence!!
앵그리버드 [@침대가좋아] Rightㅠ I’m not going to look anymore either, and I’ll just focus on scar treatmentㅠ
튬니 With cosmetic surgery, I think you end up mentally spiraling over some bothersome part that only you can noticeㅜㅜ Let’s think that other people don’t know and only I know, and even if something starts bothering us from now on, if it’s not functional, let’s get our mindset togetherㅜㅜㅜ!!!
앵그리버드 [@튬니] Yeahㅠ Honestly, I don’t think scar treatment will make it completely better either, so I should just live like thisㅠㅠ
앵그리버드 [@송은석와이프] Yeahㅠㅠ I think most people really do end up with scarsㅠㅠ I don’t even know how much money I’ve thrown away on this.. sighㅠ.... Fighting
뚜꼼이 But they say you absolutely can’t choose whether the epicanthoplasty shape is pointed or round, and you just have to live with the shape you already have, so I gave upㅜ
앵그리버드 [@뚜꼼이] ㅠㅠ I’m just going to treat the raised scar, and I’ve given up on the shape nowㅠㅠ
보글보글빵빵 Could I know where you got the reconstruction done?
앵그리버드 [@보글보글빵빵] I did it at Secret Plastic Surgery Clinic!!
아으앙옹 Seriously, even if other people don’t know, the person themselves feels that tiny difference so sensitivelyㅠㅠ
앵그리버드 [@아으앙옹] Rightㅠㅠ That tiny....because of that, how much money am I spendingㅜㅜ
앵그리버드 [@이화여] I am doing scar treatment at ilove Dermatology. The effect does not show dramatically, but it is still getting much better than before I did it Upper epicanthoplasty has a lot of problems too...? Sigh....let's not touch the eyes anymore....just scar treatment...ㅠㅠ
히히허후 Seriously, once one thing bothers you, you keep seeing only that..
앵그리버드 [@히히허후] Yeah, rightㅠㅠ Once it started bothering me, it kept bothering me...sigh...
jaeng Aftercare is important too.. I am getting epicanthoplasty this time too, so I am worriedㅠㅠ
앵그리버드 [@jaeng] Yeah, you have to be careful about scarringㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
mmqq Epicanthoplasty scars are so scary. I am also going around for consultations, and I am worriedㅠㅠ
앵그리버드 [@mmqq] After surgery, take good care of the aftercare tooㅠ I hope your surgery goes wellㅠ
아링히 Aftercare....you really have to pay a lot of attention to it ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
앵그리버드 [@아링히] Yeah, right. It is important that the surgery goes well, but aftercare is important too.
라임r I am considering epicanthoplasty restoration, but I should be careful ㅠ
앵그리버드 [@라임r] If it goes wrong, you can end up like me, so think a lot about itㅠ
트임 You did not originally have any depressed scars or anything?? I am going crazy because of a hook-shaped depressed scar ㅠㅠ
앵그리버드 [@] Yeah, I did not get a hook-shaped depressed scar, only a raised scar where the flesh swelled upㅠㅠ
츄깅 ㅜㅜㅠ I desperately want to go back to my natural eyes too....even after restoration and secondary canthoplasty, my natural eyes were the best....they were the most meㅠ
앵그리버드 [@츄깅] Me too... My eyes did not even need surgery; they were originally big and I did not have an exposed lacrimal caruncle either. I just did it out of greed and it went wrong...well....sigh...
츄깅 [@앵그리버드] My eyes did not need epicanthoplasty either. My lacrimal caruncle was already visible and the eyes were already openㅠ The clinic said my Mongolian fold was severe, and I fell for that...
앵그리버드 [@츄깅] ㅠㅠㅠ Honestly, I do not like my eyes now after secondary canthoplasty either, but I am not going to touch them anymore...sigh...
츄깅 [@앵그리버드] I do not like it compared with my original eyes either..............But the more I restore, the more it feels like a fatal blow,.,,,,I am just going to live with it too Seriously, I paid money and got scars and discomfortㅠ
앵그리버드 [@츄깅] That is exactly it ㅠ I paid my own money and got scars and discomfort... ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
트임 Do you not get wrinkles?? Like vertical wrinkles... They can appear even after epicanthoplasty, so would restoration make even more appear...
앵그리버드 [@] I did not have wrinkle-like scars! Only raised scars ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
앵그리버드 [@WASD] I think going back to natural eyes ends the moment you have canthoplasty surgery. Especially with restoration, they pull in surrounding tissue to use, so even more so.
츄깅 [@앵그리버드] I think I considered restoration too lightlyㅠ After restoration, my pupils look more recessed, so my eyes feel like they look smallerㅜ
앵그리버드 [@츄깅] Restoration is a much bigger major surgery....There is absolutely no guarantee of results, and restoring flesh that has already been cut away is......you cannot create something from nothing, so you have to pull my own tissue in and use it again, so I definitely think it is hard for the result to be good
츄깅 [@앵그리버드] Rightㅠ At least because I had canthoplasty, I look somewhat human... My natural eye shape used to stretch horizontally, but that changed, so I really miss it
앵그리버드 [@츄깅] I should give up on going back to my original eyes and just live without touching them anymore..sigh
츄깅 [@츄깅] ㅠㅠ Hey, could you maybe look at my eyes in my recent post? I feel like my lacrimal caruncle may be less visible than my natural eyes, or maybe not.,..I have a lot on my mind
진짜마지막이길 Please share info on secondary canthoplasty! How should aftercare be done?ㅜㅜ
치키차카초코에몽 I have been considering only epicanthoplasty restoration for years, but I do not know what I should do ㅠㅠ
루돌프여 I am considering epicanthoplasty. This makes me think even more.
앵그리버드 [@치키차카초코에몽] Be really careful with restorationㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Because it uses tissue that is not there by pulling it in....
앵그리버드 [@루돌프여] Choose carefully and wiselyㅠㅠㅠ
gatopa I am considering it too, this is a big problem
앵그리버드 [@gatopa] Choose carefullyㅠㅠ A surgery already done cannot be returned to the way it was...
gatopa I am considering it too, this is a big problem
듀듀듀듀바바 I am considering epicanthoplasty surgery, but I should think carefully..
앵그리버드 [@듀듀듀듀바바] Yeah, think a lot about it and decide
뮤지개 I also developed scar tissue where the epicanthoplasty connects the inner corner of the eye to the aegyo-sal. What kind of scar treatment should I getㅠ Could I know a clinic or treatment method that helped?ㅜ
실짱 I am 2 weeks after epicanthoplasty restoration, and somehow the shape of my inner corners looks strange right now. Will it get better with time....? It is definitely nice that the hook shape is gone, but should I say the inner corner is still diamond-shaped? Also, I originally had an outline double eyelid, but it changed to an in-out line. But the line height near the inner corner is the same, and because the front was pinched, it does not feel like the line naturally passes along that eye line? ㅠㅠ
토깽이풀 That person is me .,After anterior restoration and epicanthoplasty reconstruction, the scars became so severe that the cumulative cost of scar treatment seems to have exceeded the surgery cost ㅜ I live far away, so I go every month, and it is still ongoing. It finally seems like it is almost ending now
