I remember having revision surgery because one side came undone after 6 months... Local anesthesia hurts like crazy, so if you can’t tolerate pain, choose sedation anesthesia. It hurts when they give the anesthesia, and it also hurts during surgery. The swelling went down really quickly. Maybe because it was the buried-suture method, it looked natural like my own eyes in about 2 weeks. Go to consultations at several places. It was right after graduating high school, when I didn’t know anything and was going around to consultations saying I wanted eye surgery, and there were a lot of clinics recommending this and that. Now that I have some awareness of what my face is lacking, when I think back on that time, I feel like if I had gotten surgery from those doctors, it would have been a total disaster.
