I had double eyelid surgery before, but I didn’t like the line, so I had revision surgery. At first, I was only planning to get double eyelid revision surgery, but after going around to different places for consultations, I went to 5 clinics, and every one of them said the same thing: for my eyes, doing ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty together would be effective. So after thinking it over, I got all 3 procedures at once. >< From what I remember, to summarize the main points from the 5 clinic consultations, they said that if I additionally got ptosis correction, it could make my eyes look bigger and clearer while also helping the line connect more naturally. And they said that if the Mongolian fold was improved with epicanthoplasty, the line could continue naturally toward the inner front of the eye. > Well, in the end,,, because I also wanted to become prettier, I got all 3 at once, but inside I was really worriedㅠㅠ What if something went wrong.. They say epicanthoplasty can leave scars, so what if I got a scar? I think I had so many thoughts like that. But once time actually passed, the line looked natural and my eyes got bigger, and I even thought it was a good thing that I got the 3 procedures done at once.
There’s still a little recovery period left, but I think most of the swelling and bruising are almost goneㅎㅎ If there are any people like me who had double eyelid surgery but didn’t like the line and are thinking of getting revision surgery, I think it’s also good to ask the clinic before revision surgery whether your eyes need ptosis correction or epicanthoplasty.^^; Please keep it in mind~
