Breast surgery afterthoughts at 5-6 months?.. review After gaining a lot of weight, I decided I needed to lose weight and lost 20 kg, but the reason I couldn’t lose any more even though I wanted to was my breasts. If I lost more from here, my breasts would shrink too, and they had already shrunk a lot. Seeing them in that deflated state, the breast shape wasn’t pretty and the breasts were far apart from each other. So I was considering breast surgery, but one of the reasons I couldn’t go ahead right away was that I thought natural breasts would be better in many ways, like the foreign-body sensation and the feel. While I was debating for those reasons, people around me gradually started getting surgery, and the reviews were better than I expected, with more people saying they were satisfied. So I thought, okay, I’ll just go for a consultation at one place first, and if it’s not good I’ll do it somewhere else, but if it’s okay I’ll just do it right away. (I’d had many times when plastic surgery consultations were hard for me.) So I booked a consultation and had the consultation with the doctor. What I liked was that there was no pressure. When I said, “I want to do it this way,” they tried to match the direction I wanted as much as possible, and when I asked, “Can’t we go bigger than this..?” they honestly told me, “If you go bigger than that, the implant may be palpable,” which I liked. They explained well why it couldn’t be done, and what I liked most was that instead of saying everything was possible, they clearly said what wasn’t possible wasn’t possible. I thought about it for a day and booked the surgery right away. It was my first time under general anesthesia, so I was scared, and I searched Naver for side effects and things like that. On the day of surgery, while waiting before surgery, I was taking deep breaths and shaking so much, wondering if something might go wrong, and the nurse comforted me. They said things like, “Don’t worry, the anesthesiologist will be present, so don’t be nervous.” They were so kind, and when I was going in for surgery and the anesthesiologist came, I said I was so scared and asked if they had checked that I had underlying conditions. The anesthesiologist said, “I’ll be present the whole time and keep checking, so don’t worry,” and they actually came to check on me once more after the surgery was over too.. (Thank you..) The pain after surgery felt like someone was sitting on top of my chest? It hurt.. I was like, what is this pain I’ve never experienced before? Then I realized it felt like when you run really hard and your chest tightens painfully. For 3 days, I couldn’t get up by myself, and after that I could get up fine on my own (it differs by person). The pain lasted about 3 days? After that, there wasn’t much except an occasional tingling, and looking back, I wonder if it was more bearable than I expected? They also kindly explained the aftercare well, and everyone working at the hospital was kind. I never felt like anyone was unfriendly.. I still haven’t measured my size after surgery because I’m wearing a sports bra, but just looking at them, they got bigger. And when I wear clothes, even the fit is different. Since you can see it right away, I understand why it’s a surgery with high satisfaction. People around me often say the feel is okay. After my surgery, when a few people said they wanted to do it too, I told them to absolutely go to many consultations and check whether the consultation with the doctor felt okay, and whether an anesthesiologist is present (this is the most important, essential for safety).
