I can talk comfortably and well with the consultant, but with the doctor, I feel somewhat cautious. Maybe because they’re the person who will put me under anesthesia and put a scalpel to my body, I don’t want to upset them somehow, so I become a bit careful. Then even though I have so many things to ask, my brain freezes. The consultation was kind, but it’s not like the doctor can spend time only holding onto me, so when the flow gets interrupted midway and they seem to wrap things up, I think that’s just the general attitude of hospitals. Are there a lot of people like me whose brains freeze during consultations,,, After consultations, I feel somehow regretful and a bit upsetㅠㅠㅠ
거만 If you get consultations like that, I feel like the chances of regretting it would be very high..
Uouo98 [@Arrogant] Ah, I basically do at least 30 minutes haha. It’s just that after I come back, I think of three or four things like, ah damn, I should’ve asked this tooㅜㅅㅜ
거만 [@Uouo98] Once you’ve gone to a lot of consultations, they all say similar things, so rather than focusing on the consultation about the nose, I just kept thinking, can I trust them? Are they reliable? Only that.
Uouo98 [@Arrogant] There were two hospitals where I felt a spark. The rest were all pretty similar. For reference, I didn’t go to that many, but from how they talked, I could roughly get a feel, like, ah, if I do it here, there might be problems too. That much. First of all, I have boundaries like filtering out large hospitals, so I’m basically doing a tournament within thatㅜㅡㅜ
디딤만두 Oh, I’m actually the opposite... I want to get a more in-depth consultation from someone with medical knowledge....... The consultant feels like they’re just mechanically rattling off memorized lines, so I don’t really like it...ㅠ
조민희0501 Mm, don’t be too nervous just because they’re the director haha. They’re all just people too!
크류류 For me, since the consultant isn’t a doctor, I actually end up not listening carefully when they talk, and even if the director makes you uncomfortable, you have to ask everything you want to ask!! It’s not like the consultation fee is free anywayㅠ
후리후링 ㅋㅋㅋ I got consultations at three places and I relate so much
아아이어에 If you write down the questions you couldn’t ask and bring them with you, you won’t forget, so it’s goodㅋㅋ I did that at my first consultation too..
Ariii The director is precisely the person you’ll be paying a huge, expensive amount to and entrusting with your face and your life if you have surgery, so you should ask questions more actively and ask everything you need to askㅜ I don’t think there’s any need to have your brain freeze, get intimidated(?), and be overly cautious just because they’re the director.. You’re paying tens of thousands of won for the consultation tooㅎㅎ Assert your rights as a confident consumer..^^
이짜죠 It's better to ask the doctor directly about this and that. Anyway, it's your face
베뉴 I used to be like that too, but now just confidently ask everything you want to ask!!
Bㅐㅐㅐㅐ I really relate to everything in the postㅜㅠㅠㅠ Honestly, even when I go to a neighborhood clinic, I get more nervous with the doctor than at the reception desk for no reason…
벅쵸 Doctors themselves don't really seem to be people who provide consultations that kindly.. There are some occasionally, but I don't think there are many. That hard-to-explain high-handed attitude and.. answering formally, as if, even though I'm the one getting surgery, would I even understand if I said somethingㅎㅎ There are also times when it feels like they're trying to end the consultation earlyㅎㅎ
프리뜨뚜 Write down what you want to ask when you go for the consultation!! Don't watch their reaction, just ask everything!!
eiejs That's why it's good to organize and write down your questions for the director consultation
