I had non-incisional adhesion surgery 3 times for double-folded eyelids (see previous post for eye photos). Not good at explaining things, so I wrote this down as I remembered it; I only included the notable points for each clinic. *At every clinic, I was diagnosed with an incisional procedure (which I wanted), and they said they would remove all visible existing sutures. *Keep the line as is, or raise it by only 0.5 mm. *At the consultation, my eyes looked too normal, so I was only able to consult using the video I had taken of my double folds *The estimates are the costs after applying all discounts, including partial photo disclosure of the eyes, reviews, pre-booking deposits, etc. *There were no consultation fees anywhere.
☑️ Clinics diagnosed with ‘incision + fat repositioning’ ☑️ [[[ㄸㅋ - ㄱㅎㅅ]]] - Wait: Everyone who got into the elevator got off here. The place was packed, and right away they took eye photos, but I had to wait 20 minutes to meet the manager. 30 minutes to meet the director. Then another 20-minute wait to meet the manager again. The waiting time was way too long and there were too many people, so it was a bit uncomfortable. - Manager: Asks where you went for consultations at other clinics and what they said, and tends to criticize them / kind and empathetic. - Director: Catches subtle asymmetry or a slight hollow in the center of the eyes that I would not have particularly noticed, and explains the surgical plan well! (within 5 minutes) - Note: 1-year aftercare - Estimate: 3 million won and up

Even including all the waiting, it was within 10 minutes (it was the first appointment of the day, so the clinic looked chaotic, and there was only one other party besides me. Even when I asked the desk questions, they seemed uninterested, which was unpleasant.) - Manager: During the consultation, it felt like she saw me as just a passing ‘person 1’ and ignored me. It was unpleasant enough that I could feel it. /I liked the director, but I did not want to go ahead because of the front desk and the manager. - Director: I went because of YouTube, so I had high expectations, but I got all the answers I wanted and the explanations were really clean and clear. I liked it a lot, and when they were previously at ㅁㅂ and ㅍ I looked at all the reviews, and the price was so good that I wanted to do it, but seeing the attitude of the other staff and managers, I felt no sense that they were paying attention to me as a patient before surgery, and I think once I paid, I would be completely out of sight and out of mind, so I am still torn. - Note: They pressure you to make a reservation (if you decide by that day, it gets a lot cheaper; if you say you need to adjust your schedule, it seems okay to say you’ll decide later) Full sedation (this was another reason I was worried) - Estimate: low 2 million won range (the cheapest)
[[[ ㅇㄹ - ㅈㅅㅂ]]] I visited because it was a clinic I had surgery at before and there was a discount possibility. - Wait: Because it’s so famous... 1st try - The clinic made a reservation mistake and said I could not be seen, to come in the afternoon, but I was anxious so I called to ask, and they said I still could not be seen then either. For reference, I live outside the city and had already used a personal day and come to Seoul just to go there 2nd try - After waiting 1 hour 30 minutes, I said I had to leave because of another clinic appointment, and they told me to come in the afternoon, but the time kept changing over the phone, and in the end I could not be seen. 3rd try - They said they would see me right away, but again I waited 1 hour. Maybe because it was the busiest surgery period, there was no waiting in the lower-floor waiting room; consultations were held in the cramped upstairs space where people doing surgery were doing final design, there was a changing room and recovery room. From experience, the consultation room is the room where pre-op design is done. All patient consultations are done here. There are so many patients waiting that the manager says to consult first, pack your things, and go back to the waiting room, so you wait on the sofa, then after seeing the director you are told to go back out and wait outside again, then go back in to see the manager again, and so on.. But the waiting area is so small that you have to stand, lol. - Manager: They seemed like they would give a big discount because it was a revision surgery at the same clinic and because they felt sorry for making me reschedule twice due to the clinic’s mistake. But when you combine the amount written in the app and what the manager said, plus the additional fees, it only ended up being 19,000 won off the base price. They said they applied review discounts, revision discounts, and waiting-time discounts, but the math does not match. - Director: I was only waiting for the director, and I liked them even more. They were really honest, and actually told me to have surgery only after the folds fully loosened again, saying that way I would be more satisfied when doing incision surgery. They showed me the line in various ways, even raising it by 0.5 mm, asked whether I could tolerate it, and did not recommend it. As soon as they saw the eye I wanted (an incisional eye done by the director + forehead lift), they examined the forehead lift result and said not doing it would look more natural and prettier, so they advised against it. The number of reviews is small and the career length is also relatively short, but as the consultation review said, they were very specialized in eyes and spoke 100% honestly for my sake, which made me trust them even more and like them a lot. I want to have surgery here because of the director, but after surgery it’s basically over! I remember there being no aftercare at all, so I wonder if this is the right place, and the price is not very appealing compared with my expectations either Still, it’s the second cheapest. - Note: Reviews in two apps at 1, 3, and 6 months, for a total of 3 times - Estimate: low 2 million won range

☑️ Incision only diagnosed ☑️ [[[ㅇㄹㅇ - ㅇㄷㅅ, ㅎㅈㅇ]]] - Wait: I got lucky and there was not much waiting (under 30 minutes total for the two consultations), but maybe because the surgery and consultation schedule was tight, there were many people, the waiting area was small, and the chairs were uncomfortable. Some people were waiting while standing. - Manager: The place with the strongest pressure to pay a reservation deposit They said a discount applies if you leave a reservation deposit before leaving the clinic, and if you just leave the deposit without booking a date, they will give a 100% refund right away. (If you have the receipt, you can take a photo and send it to the manager.) - Consultation review: Both the manager and the director said fat repositioning was meaningless and that incision should be used to firmly fix things, then if the eyes later develop double folds, proceed with non-incisional fat grafting. But in the first place, the reason I am still looking into surgery is that my double folds have not completely loosened yet because of the repeated double-folding problem. Someone from a community once told me that the fixation strength is very strong, and I really do think it would be very strong, but I know that if the fixation is too strong, it becomes that much more obvious in the eyes. - ㅇㄷㅅ: The consultation felt professional and good, but they seemed extremely busy. I think they came out during surgery. - ㅎㅈㅇ: The explanation given to me was sparse, but they seemed confident, like, ‘Look here, hmm, this should do it,’ and that was it?? ☑️ Incision + fat grafting ☑️ [[[ ㅁㄷㅇ - ㅇㅌㄱ]]] (I went to the director I had surgery with before) When they were at ㅌㅇㅅ, I got a consultation after being recommended the event director, and because they were so kind and explained the structure and cause of my eyes better than anyone else, I booked surgery right away. - Wait: Since it is a one-doctor clinic, there is basically no waiting. - Manager: Kind, but there is a bit of pressure to proceed with surgery - Director: Still kind. They were talking about incision + fat repositioning, but when I asked, ‘Won’t the double folds come back?’ they said that if the folds had repeatedly loosened before, then we should also do micro fat grafting. I went there mainly for the director, but fat grafting seemed really unnecessary for me, since it has severe side effects and I do not have sunken eyes, so I asked the manager to tell the director again. But based on the manager’s judgment, it felt like they kept recommending it to me. Later, when I said I was worried about surgery because of the fat grafting, they sent me photos of double folds caused by sunken eyes as a similar case, but it looked like a completely different case from mine and my opinion was not reflected, so I passed. I had originally planned to only consult here and at the previous ㅌㅇㅅ clinic, but because of the fat grafting, I ended up consulting at other clinics too. If my eyes loosen more later, I would be willing to visit again; both my friend and I were satisfied with the eye shape, so they have good aesthetics. - Note: Sutures removed after 5 days; belly-button sutures for the fat grafting removed after 10 days - Estimate: low 3 million won range
☑️ Incision + ptosis correction ☑️ [[[ ㅇㄴ - ㅊㅌㅈ]]] - Wait: I waited in the consultation room, and the total waiting time was about 30 minutes? Not factory-style. - Manager: All the staff were fairly kind, but there was a bit of pressure to reserve, so they contacted me often. The quoted price was based on a same-day reservation, but they kept contacting me and even kept it open until the next day. - Director: My eyelid-lifting strength is strong, but the fixation point of the eyelid muscle? is not currently aligned with my double-eyelid line, so instead of pulling the muscle, they recommended adjusting the muscle’s position to match the double-eyelid line and making the fixation stronger in the area where the double fold forms. (From incisional double-eyelid surgery reviews, there seems to be more ptosis correction here than at other clinics.) They mentioned fat repositioning, but said it was unnecessary. They showed me a review photo from 6 months after incision surgery, taken with the clinic camera while my eyes were closed, and said they were confident they could do it without leaving scars. It was basically almost none. - Note: Need to write reviews on two apps, plus the community, 6 times total…… - Estimate: high 2 million won range, later reduced to mid 2 million won range after follow-up contact

The front desk and everyone there were really kind. - Manager: The most angel-like manager I have met so far; kind, gentle, thoughtful, and very considerate. - Director: Said my eyelid-opening strength was slightly weak, and since they were not pulling hard, the eyelid closing would stay the same as before and only be pulled a little. But I am already protruding, so my eyes close less already, and it was not a case where they needed to touch the eyelid muscle, so I had no desire to touch it.. - Note: They said it would take 3-4 hours from entering the clinic to leaving, and it really felt like they were not factory-style and were handling everything with care.
