I had rhinoplasty using donated costal cartilage, silicone, and septal cartilage, but my nasal tip drooped, so I'm looking into revision surgery ㅠㅠ I like a somewhat glamorous look, so I'm planning to book consultations at ㄹㅂㄹ, ㅁㅇㄷ, ㄷㄴ (this one is still on hold..) If donated costal cartilage was used as the nasal material the first time, does the next one have to be autologous costal cartilage no matter what?? Because of the drooping, I'm almost mentally at my limit, so I want to use the firmest material, but honestly, I'm worried about the scar from autologous costal cartilage.... ㅠ I'm wondering if ear cartilage and septal cartilage alone wouldn't work, and I'm so curious..

후토마키 If you're worried about the scar from autologous costal cartilage, look into DI too. They also provide scar care after surgery.

아빠곰엄마곰 Autologous costal cartilage isn't necessarily the last-resort method though.. A lot of people use it for their first surgery too. I think it's just a matter of preference.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
