Originally I had mild asymmetry in my eyes, so I had buried sutures to pinch them. That was my first surgery. Back in college?
But if you do buried sutures without removing fat, it seems like they gradually loosen over time. Now there are natural adhesion methods and all that.. But back then it was so long ago that they really just pinched it in place, so after about 2? 3 years, one side loosened.
So I went back to the same hospital for another consultation and had revision surgery again with an incisional method. The swelling really seemed to go down about 3 times slowerㅋㅋ I walked a lot.. Used ice packs like crazy I didn't drink pumpkin juice or anything like that, but anyway I moved around a lot to make the swelling go down fast.
Since that revision was done 6 years ago, it's settled in well now, so I'm fairly satisfied, but because it was incisional, when I close my eyes it does seem noticeable. When my eyes are open, people don't know I had surgery.. but when I close them, they say it shows. These days eye surgery is so common that they say it's more of a procedure than a surgery. When I had it, it was still a real surgery..ㅋㅋㅋ
Anyway.. that was my review of revision double eyelid surgery (incisional) after 6 years!
