I Had Rhinitis + Nose Surgery in November

I had surgery in early November, and now I’ve passed 4 months and am heading toward 5 months. I never dreamed I would get plastic surgery in my life. I had lived without knowing what rhinitis was, but about 3 years ago my nose became severely blocked, and even after a day, two days, a month, and a year, it didn’t get better.. I went to an ENT and had photos taken inside my nose, and on both sides the inner walls were swollen and were almost blocking the openings. I went to two local ENT clinics, and both recommended surgery, so I felt uneasy about doing it locally and looked into hospitals in Seoul. I found that I could have rhinoplasty while having rhinitis surgery, and since I was going to have surgery anyway and my nose had always been a complex, I ended up doing cosmetic surgery together. I had rhinitis surgery + alar reduction + osteotomy + surgery using ear cartilage, septal cartilage, and donated costal cartilage. Now I’m thinking about removal.. I had surgery at a plastic surgery clinic with an ENT specialist. During the first consultation, they said they would operate with ear cartilage and septal cartilage, and because I had less septal cartilage than others, if there wasn’t enough to harvest, they might use donated costal cartilage. After it was over, I asked and they said they had put it in. When I looked it up later, it seems many people avoid donated costal cartilage for a first surgery.. People also say septal cartilage is hard, but donated costal cartilage is even harder. Looking at consultation reviews for this hospital, it seemed like the director frequently uses donated costal cartilage itself. I saw more than one consultation review where donated costal cartilage was recommended.. Anyway, when I press my nose, it is extremely firm with not even a little give. It moves slightly left and right, but absolutely not even a little up and down. Even when washing my face and wiping over the nose area, it really feels like only the nasal tip is fixed.. Of course, it’s the same when doing makeup. Most of all, during the consultation I asked for my nose to look natural and mainly talked about rhinitis, but the rhinitis hasn’t even improved.. When I look inside my nose, the swollen tissue on the nasal wall has been removed, but it’s still blocked.. At first, after surgery, they said it wouldn’t open right away and that I had to wait until 3 months, so I waited. But it was still blocked, so I went back. They took images inside my nose and showed me, saying everything that was blocked had been opened. When I said it was still blocked, they seemed puzzled and told me to rinse diligently. Their tone was like they didn’t know why it was blocked either.... They said it had to be done open, so I even had open surgery. I absolutely cannot tolerate this foreign body sensation when I touch my nose, and the time for early removal has already passed, so I’m waiting for 6 months.. I’m also torn over whether I should go to a hospital specializing in removal or do it at the hospital where I had the surgery.. It seems like everyone has removal done at the same hospital where they had surgery.. When I went back for consultation, I asked about removal too, and they mentioned 10 months. If I remove it at the same hospital, do I have to wait 10 months?.. I heard that after removal, the nose shape doesn’t return to the original shape. Cartilage is one thing, but I’m distressed about what will happen because of the osteotomy. If I had known it would feel this much like a foreign body, I would have just had rhinitis surgery only at an ENT.. And when does the open-surgery scar start improving for everyone? I don’t know why mine is still so noticeable.. Both sides are completely sunken in. I’m wondering whether I’ll need to separately get columellar scar removal surgery after removal too... sigh
