After I got my first rhinoplasty and had the splint removed, my nose was tilted. I thought maybe I was imagining it… but everyone kept asking why my nose was tilted, so I ended up spiraling and cried my eyes out. When I went for another consultation, they said my natural nose was originally crooked, so it couldn’t be corrected, and that they had no choice but to place silicone on top of the existing framework.. Now, 3 years later, I have a chance to get revision surgery and I’m planning to do it, but can’t the nasal bridge be corrected with surgery? This time I’m going to Gangnam instead of a regional clinic (biggest mistake of my life) The photo is drawn with the tilt a bit exaggerated, but this is the current state of my nasal bridge
haruholic Um... Asymmetry like this usually isn’t correctable. They said at this level, don't raise the nasal bridge. If it is kept lower, the starting boundary looks blurrier and less obvious, but if it’s drawn thicker it becomes clearer. Asymmetry should be addressed with asymmetry correction.

haruholic [@banggujii] Osteotomy is for making the nose straighter/ narrower, so it is not directly related to asymmetry. Osteotomy should only be done if, after consultation, the doctor says it is needed. Don’t expect it to correct asymmetry.

haruholic [@방구제이] It was labeled “asymmetry,” but really the nasal bridge is bent. Just by looking, it’s already a bent nose. A hump nose is included in this too. Asymmetry is not only a matter of the nose being twisted; it relates more to the overall facial axis balance. That case seems quite different from the asymmetry you’re thinking of.
방구제이 [@haruholic] So if only the nose itself is crooked, correction is possible, but when it’s crooked overall, we can’t do dramatic correction, right? Thanks! I’ll at least look for rhinoplasty specialists with a little hope anyway If it can’t be done, then there’s nothing we can do.. ^_
