I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery in 2009, then one side loosened in 2014, so I had revision surgery, and now another 3 years have passed and the other side has loosened too...
The place where I had surgery was a plastic surgery clinic near Exit 4 of Apgujeong, known as a place where so-called idols? celebrities go. After getting it done, I was really very satisfied, but... now that it’s loosened for the second time, it’s really driving me crazy. It was so natural and pretty that no one would know unless I told them first... This time I’m debating whether I should get an incisional method somewhere else ㅠ
Even though the buried-suture method has loosened twice, my eyes don’t have that much fat, and I do have slight ptosis, but it’s not severe... No matter how much plastic surgeons nowadays say buried-suture double eyelids don’t loosen, I think with the buried-suture method, you do need to assume you may have to get revision surgery every 10 years... I’ve also seen people around me whose double eyelids loosened from time to time, so this time I’m really debating whether I should do the incisional method ㅠㅠ When getting plastic surgery, please get lots of consultations, and with buried-suture double eyelids, keep in mind that you may need revision surgery every few years before getting the surgery
