I was always stressed about my bumpy hooked nose and severe rhinitis, so I told my dad I wanted to get nose surgery, but he scolded me, saying, “What kind of man gets cosmetic surgery?” So I gave up and didn’t do it.. But as time went on, the stress about my appearance kept getting worse, and especially my rhinitis seemed to be getting worse too, so this time I worked up the courage, looked into clinics for rhinoplasty, and even got the surgery done (successfully persuaded my dad) My friend told me that when I go for a clinic consultation, I need to explain in detail what I want, so I asked them to smooth out the hooked bump a bit, make the nasal bridge not too overwhelming, and just make it to the point where anyone would think, “Ah, his nose is pretty.” After discussing it with the director, I used silicone for the nasal bridge and septal cartilage + septal cartilage for the nasal tip, and since the director said my deviated septum was quite severe, I had it done as a functional rhinoplasty. The reimbursement from my private medical insurance came through well, so I think the cost burden was reduced a lot. Now the line came out so much to my liking that I can’t even remember what my nose looked like before surgery, so I’m completely satisfied. My rhinitis also seems to have completely disappeared, and breathing is really comfortable. When my dad saw me after the surgery, he said it was a good decision and keeps complimenting me, saying, “My son got handsome~” haha
