Review after going to facial contouring consultations

I had only been going to consultations for 1 type of facial contouring, cheekbone reduction, but got scared and gave up. Recently I made up my mind again that I absolutely had to do it, and for two months I went in and out like crazy, searched every site, and did online research. I thought I could visit just one place in person, so I went. First, places I consulted at before: ㅅㄷ, ㅅㅅㅇ, ㄴㅌ ㅅㄷ The director was kind. I showed a photo of Go Youn-jung, saying I wanted straight cheekbones. They said there would be an effect and also talked about facial asymmetry. They said things like this side needs to be reduced more, and also that I have a slight retruded chin, but not enough to consider surgery, and that cheekbone reduction alone should be fine. At that time, the consultant was kind of... and because this was my first hospital, I knew so little that I came out without asking a single question. As for the surgical method, they seemed to prefer sedation anesthesia for cheekbone surgery. General anesthesia is also possible. ㅅㅅㅇ This place was also kind. I went because reviews were pouring out for a while. The director was kind, but hmm, I just felt like it didn’t suit me. Since I had heard an explanation about asymmetry at the previous hospital, I asked how surgery should be done if my cheekbones are asymmetric, and they said something like there’s no need to specifically correct the asymmetry. I came because I wanted cheekbone surgery, but they asked about other things. I just felt that what we were aiming for was different, and I completely gave up on it. The price was the cheapest. ㄴㅌ I even made a surgery reservation here but got scared and eventually canceled. But I think it was good that I canceled then. Even up to that point, I was still ignorant compared to now. The director was kind and briefly explained the surgical method, saying this and that about the asymmetry. I kept whining that my asymmetry seemed too severe, and they comforted me by saying that this degree is pretty. They said there would likely be an effect, but a little posterior cheekbone prominence may remain. So I thought, hmm, what does that mean? Still, they clearly said there would be an effect, so I made a reservation, and I kept going back and forth about whether to go for another consultation at ㅅㄷ and decide again or just do it. Around then, posts about various hospitals started coming up on facial contouring side-effect sites, so I just gave up on surgery. I’m not talking about posts about this hospital, but just posts that had come up in a community! Please don’t misunderstand. Then a lot of time passed, and every time I looked in the mirror, I just couldn’t take it. My jaw is fairly slim, so if only my cheekbones disappeared, that would be enough, but I was always covering them with my hair, getting stressed, and getting extremely annoyed if my hair was cut wrong. Then I thought I’d just get it done, and that I’d definitely find the right place, so I went crazy doing online research again lol. I was going to go to ㅇㅍ, but something just felt off, so I didn’t go. I went to ㅌㅋ. ㅌㅋ They are cold but kind. If you ask, “Should we do this?” they actually ask questions back, then explain. It feels like a teacher? And if you keep asking what you’re curious about first, they explain well. But if you go thinking they’ll explain everything on their own, the consultation style might not suit you. The more you know, the more questions you have, so ask a lot. Here, after taking a CT and looking at my temporomandibular joints, they said they can reduce my cheekbones, but the straight shape I want won’t come out, and a little volume may remain. I wondered what that meant, and they said that if the temporomandibular joints are large, when reducing the cheekbones, they have no choice but to reduce them in a way that matches that area, and there are limits. This was the first time I’d heard this. Still, I asked if I would definitely see an effect, and they said the effect would be definite, so for now, OK. Then I went home and looked up cases like mine by looking at bone photos on YouTube and cafes, and I understood what they meant. I put down a reservation deposit, but I’m thinking of going back for another consultation and asking them to show me my CT images. At the time, I didn’t understand what they meant, but after studying at home, I think I get it, so I want to look at my face again and ask again.
