I had thought my existing epicanthoplasty looked too burdensome, but I kept putting it off and finally scheduled it to match the long Lunar New Year holiday. I did think, what if I end up looking too round-eyed, but I decided to have the surgery and went in. The best thing was that the operating room was not too cold, so I was less nervous, and they administered a sedative and then put me under sleep anesthesia, so I think the surgery was comfortable. On the day of surgery, I did not swell that much, but from the third day, I swelled a lot. Because it was not a major reconstruction, it did not show that much. On day 7, the stitches are removed. They said that if I want revision surgery, at least six months absolutely have to pass. I will edit and upload the surgery photos after some time passes!!
