My biggest concern was my square jaw. Every time I took photos, my lower face looked emphasized, and hats didn't suit me well either, so I decided to have surgery because I wanted to improve my square jaw! I went to The Standard of Facial Contouring for a consultation because I wanted to do my square jaw and cheekbones, but after consulting with the director, I decided on square jaw and chin surgery. I was going to do all 3 types while I was at it, but I think I was satisfied because they honestly told me which areas were necessary and which weren't. On the day of surgery, after another consultation with Director Oh Jungseok, we discussed the surgical areas and the exact style, then I changed clothes and had the surgery. I liked that they gave detailed explanations about precautions, recovery, the level of pain, and so on. After surgery, I'm not sure if it was because of the painkillers, but there wasn't as much pain as I expected. The only uncomfortable parts were stiffness and not being able to open my mouth well. As for swelling, from the day after surgery to the day after that, it swelled mainly around my lower face, but from about one week on, I think daily life was possible. I was worried because I had surgery not long before school started, but except for not being able to drink alcohol, there weren't many uncomfortable parts, so I was satisfied!
