Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I have questions about materials for revision rhinoplasty!!!

I’ve seen a lot of posts saying costal cartilage is used for revision surgery What’s the reason? Is it to prevent side effects?? Or to keep it from drooping as much? For my first nose surgery, of course I used silicone, so I was thinking of using silicone again for revision surgery too But after reading posts, people say costal cartilage is that good, so I’m a bit torn..... I don’t know the exact reason though.. Roughly, it droops less, lasts a long time, gives a glamorous look? Things like that I’ve heard it can bring those out well too.... but honestly, silicone is similar for that too, right? So I’m wondering if it’s just because it causes less contracture and has fewer side effects... ㅠㅠ Since everyone is doing it with costal cartilage, I feel like I should use costal cartilage too... Is there any hospital that handles autologous costal cartilage well, not donated costal cartilage?? For hospitals, like I said yesterday, I’ve only looked at Grace O&Young and Miho so far Are there any other good places??
