I’m looking into revision rhinoplasty because of drooping nasal tip, and is using septal cartilage for septal extension absolutely not recommended..? ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I don’t know much, so I keep searching, and while there are posts saying there’s no problem if they harvest it while leaving only the minimum necessary amount of septum, there are also many posts saying it’s absolutely not recommended because complications like saddle nose, columellar collapse, and deviation are common, so I’m torn ㅠㅠ.. On top of that, I was told my septum is on the small side, so I’m even more worried. It’s right to avoid using septal cartilage, isn’t it..??ㅠㅠ
도다니다 Did they only use ear cartilage when you first had nose surgery? If your septum is small, it seems better to just use rib cartilage.. Touching something small on purpose and using it for extension seems a bit risky ㅠ
엔젤할래 [@Dodanitda] Yeah, during my first surgery they only used ear cartilage, but it drooped a lot ㅠㅠ Is it possible to use only rib cartilage without septal cartilage??
피노키우 With septal extension, I now have nasal tip drooping, nasal bridge deviation, and even functional problems together ㅠㅠ

좋은곳 Search septal extension deviation. YouTube They say if you remove the septum and attach it to one side of the nose, it has no choice but to deviate. I did it without knowingㅠㅠ I want revision surgery. Don’t do septal extension.
