Hi, I’m someone who has now decided to get revision rhinoplasty I’ve booked consultations at ㄱㅇㅅ, ㅅㅅㅇ, and ㅍㄹㅁ, and tomorrow I’m going to the ㅅㅅㅇ consultation! I want to do it as cheaply as possible, so if complete removal is cheaper than correction, I’m at the point where I’d choose that because I’m so stressed about the cartilage that doesn’t protrude into the nostrils (columellar cartilage) sticking out What I’m curious about is the terms related to rhinoplasty!! I’m curious about the meanings of these two terms: septal extension and contraction period! Especially people who’ve had nose removal surgery like me seem to use the word contraction period a lot, but what exactly does it mean?? Is it kind of referring to the period after surgery when the swelling goes down and the shape stabilizes?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
