After nose surgery, my nose gets blocked, so I end up breathing through my mouth while sleeping, and my entire mouth gets dry. No matter how much I run a humidifier, it doesn’t seem to help, so I looked it up and found something called a humidifying mask. Would wearing a humidifying mask affect the area where I had rhinoplasty?? If anyone has slept wearing a humidifying mask after rhinoplasty, please share your experience ㅜㅜ
뉴니니뉴 Even though mouth breathing is already inefficient, wearing a mask feels even more stuffy and makes breathing feel blocked. I just keep thinking for the few days before removing the nasal packing that I won’t be able to sleep, and the best is to put a tumbler and straw beside me and keep repeating mouth-moistening while lying down. My tongue was completely dried out ㅌㅋㅋㅋ

haruholic I tried a humidifying mask, but it was uncomfortable, and I quit because people said it’s not good to keep the dressing/packing too wet. There’s no way except turning the humidifier on high and continuously moistening the mouth with water. It’s a matter of time ㅠㅜㅠㅜ I know it’ll be painful—I hope you can endure.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
