I had epicanthal folds on both sides, and I had monolids with a short horizontal eye width.
I went around to several clinics in Apgujeong and Sinsa for consultations, and all of them recommended both ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty. If there was any difference between clinics, it was that some said non-incisional and others said buried-suture, so their wording differed. But they said that if a man gets epicanthoplasty, bruising or scars may show and it can look obvious, and after seeing the possible side effects of ptosis correction too, I wondered whether I really needed to do both. So I just had only buried-suture surgery done by a plastic surgery director I know through an acquaintance.
It has been about 1 week now, and I am satisfied to the point where I wonder if ptosis correction would have made a big difference. I hope you think once more before getting ptosis correction!
