Maybe because I used a lot of double eyelid tape before surgery, my eyelids were drooping badly, and I was told that my impression looked very different depending on whether I had double eyelids or not, so I decided to get double eyelid surgery! It was also my first surgery, and even though everyone says eyes are commonly operated on, when I look at recent reviews, they feel pretty far from the look I wanted, so I think I kept looking into hospitals that are known for going very natural. I heard it was a hospital specializing only in eye surgery, so I visited Iho Plastic Surgery. When I went for the consultation with the director, they recommended the non-incisional buried suture method, so it also felt less burdensome. In my case, the bruising lasted a little longer than the swelling. I think the swelling may have gone down faster because I drank pumpkin juice and swelling-reduction tea. I only found out later that warm compresses help bruises go away faster (I only did cold compresses..), so after I decided to start managing the bruising, I diligently did warm compresses too. I wanted the surgery to give the exact same feeling as when I used double eyelid tape, but other hospitals recommended making it more dramatic, so I felt unsure. What I'm most satisfied with is that they designed it exactly in the shape I wanted. Even now, I think it was a good decision to have the surgery done naturally!
